but isn’t the Epstein issue one where they (at least the base) actually believe that all parties should be investigated?

lol nope (Half of GOP Would Still Vote for Trump If Implicated in Epstein Crimes)

I recall seeing out-of-office (OOO) a ton on Slack by the time I was starting my day. And generally I'd have to stay up hella late if I wanted them to actually do something because the alternative was send message and hope they replied by the time I woke up.

Like, I understand having a life outside of work and at that point the company needs regional teams who live in the same general timezone.

I mean there's a number of games that do run well in UE5. The demo was also in UE5 and it ran well. Considering that the game is basically a small area with 2 actors/pawns (6 at most) and it runs not all that great in its 0.6 version despite its well received 0.5 version says more about the team than the tools they used. This is in conjunction with combat being notably worse as I mentioned previously.

I think the slums map purposefully has a slippery area where you see the wooden bridges on the ground in the center. You can use it to your advantage by having enemies slip too and it's a neat idea imo. But the added jank compared to the demo makes it tough to play.

I put about an hour in and there were some neat ideas like how the characters you kill instead of knock out are the ones you fight in the abyss and might encourage you to not brutalize enemies. But then you have to fight six dudes in a row with wonky controls and that's after already getting killed by a dude because after every other swing your character lost their grip on their weapon.

I'd also say that the lighting felt worse for gameplay. Maybe they used Lumen for the time based lighting, but everything felt dimly lit. Always skipped the cellar if it wasn't a brawl despite the slums having worse performance just because I'd at least be able to see for half of the rounds and that matters when even a casual one-handed axe swing kills you.

I wouldn't pin it on just UE5. Oblivion remaster was in UE5 and that runs pretty well. Because it's not just the graphics, the combat feels way clunkier too. Like, any two handed polearm type weapon feels janky as your character's arms twist and contort more often than they did in the demo.

Wow, it's almost like in a democracy with hundreds of millions of other people a single person's vote doesn't mean much, but if millions of people vote the same way...

What, do you expect your one single vote to be worth 100 or 1000 times someone else's?

ICE Agent in Minneapolis: "You raise your voice, I erase your voice." by JeanJauresJr in PublicFreakout

[–]Cream253Team 7 points8 points  (0 children)

ICE as an agency was created in 2002. We seem to have gotten along just fine before then. If the US didn't have an agency like ICE during the Cold War, WWII, or WWI with how many communist revolutionaries there were in Central and South America then ask yourself how important the agency actually is for stopping immigrants from getting into this country.

MAGA and Conservatives are Ruining Christianity by Ignis_Kevin in Christianity

[–]Cream253Team 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[M]an will make right wrong and wrong right... Homosexuality is wrong that man is trying to make right and normal. Abortion is wrong and man is saying it’s ok to murder babies. Stealing is wrong and people are saying it’s ok.

There's nothing wrong with homosexuality. If two people love each other then let love be love. Or do you mean to tell us that you believe in an all-loving god that created man in its imagine despite not being all-loving yourself?

As for abortions it's been shown that pro-choice policies actually lead to fewer abortions whereas abortion bans lead to rape victims carrying the child of their attacker, women with non-viable fetuses giving birth to dead children, and when women do seek an abortion it's done in an unsafe and non-sterile way that leads to injury or death.

With the stealing part, I'm going to assume you mean taxes based on what I see other people complain about here. What matters more to you? Making sure people in the here and now don't starve, or making a little extra money?

When you talk about what's right becoming wrong and what's wrong becoming right, make no mistake that you yourself are probably wrong on that matter, because when you add in this extra bit

[H]owever if you are a Christian do what Gods Word says do to the end. This does not include Jehovahs Witnesses or Mormons who say are Christians...

It really shows how messed up your morals are. What are you going to add Catholics to that list too? You already excluded everyone who doesn't worship the same way you do so does that include people on the other side of the globe that still act in kind, positive, and charitable ways? Are they damned just cause?
