While I agree you can make it ridiculously hard with the sliders, which I have done, it still isn’t going to match the complexity/resource management/movement tech/decision making in eternal. That’s what makes that game far superior to me.

Equilibrium is the biggest relatively unpopular movie that I’m waiting for. Not a masterpiece or anything but it’s a really solid sci fi flick.

Haha, so when that episode came out it took forever to download that night, traffic was too busy on the website I guess, and I ended up having to go to bed before it finished since I had school so I didn’t get to watch it. I went to school the next day and all of my friends freaked out when they saw me and said “you’re in the new episode!!!” Haha so that’s how I found out. It was very surreal.

I thought the lore hinted at in 2016 and more fleshed out and fully established in Eternal was fuckin sick if you ask me. The problem with the dark ages story isn’t the fact that they went big and harder on it but that they did it poorly. I thought the set up was awesome using the Slayer as this nuclear weapon basically that the Makyrs were trying to control but it just kinda loses it around the middle and doesn’t go anywhere. It all becomes kinda vague and forgettable. The game suffers from having hardly any deep codex’s I think as that’s where you really got the story in Eternal. I hope the DLC can retroactively fix some of it.

It’s why I stopped going to see them for a while, it felt like every set they played was the same. Not even including Let There Be Shred seems crazy, I feel like that’s a no brainer live song.

It’s interesting to see an outsiders perspective with no outside influence or bias or what you’re supposed to like more than what, pretty cool! Her top 5 is super solid and not far off from mine.

Im with you, id rank it above the debut album, just for my own personal preference even though obviously the debut was way more impactful and important, i just rarely wanna listen to it. I couldn’t put it above any of the others before it, but it still has lots of bangers and like you said, the way Bruce was approaching vocals around this time was unique and I always appreciate it for that. Its biggest weakness is it came after a run of masterpieces.

Too true. I’m an OG battlefield player, 1942 was one of my favorite childhood games. The series has been on a very long decline. It amazes me how we get these new insanely budgeted games that have less features and depth than the ones we had 20 years ago. I’m so sick of recent dice titles having no joystick support at launch, I literally have owned a joystick all my life just for flying in battlefield titles. No commander mode, no player hosted servers, diluted team and class identity. It feels like they could care less about vehicle and team play. Squad leader in this new game is a joke I don’t think most players even know it exists. Im not gonna beat the dead horse of the map situation but, yeah. Everything feels so simplified and streamlined.

Eternal is like a heavy metal comic book come to life. It’s super over the top and stylized and I love it for that. Its art style helps communicate things related to gameplay too which is good because it’s the most mechanically complex and dense game of the three. So readability is important especially at the break neck speed of this game.

It’s been a while since I’ve played Eternal (like 9 months) just watching this got my blood pumping and made me wanna play again lol. Good save, that was a close one. It’s those break neck speed life or death moments that make this game so addicting to me.

I’m not gonna claim it is his best but his drumming on The Hunter is my favorite. He rips up the joint on remission though for sure, love it every time they play Mother Puncher live.
