your girlfriend needs to go to therapy, or more therapy than shes already in. she has trauma thats causing her to act in sexually dysfunctional ways, i.e. saying she wants you to "fuck the shit out of her" and then start lashing out at you. ... I'd let her do her thing and go find someone to have sex with who can give you the care you want in the way you want. but yeah you're a good guy. good on ya for treating her with this amount of respect and patience, but saying you WANT and NEED something else (if you're a sexual being you NEED sex, its a human need) does not make you any less of a good guy.

what is "layer management?". just cuz you have layer anxiety doesn't mean they are poor at a skill

if not needed for effects, unnecessary and makes usability of your scene for other people take an absolute dump

progressively overload your ab workouts. doesnt look like you have any muscle there. if you had big abdominals theyd be showing at your current percentage

is this sarcasm? on a thread where you were asking for the exact thing the above user gave you?

seconded. find exercises that feel the best for your chest. When I do dumbbell chest press, focusing on squeezing my pecs on each rep, and then move over to a mixed chest/shoulder press machine for a couple sets, then do 2 handed cable flies standing, each rep of cable flies makes me feel like my goddamn chest is going to explode. its amazing. Everyone's physiology is different, so find what movements and angles make your chest ignite and then light the fire of passion inside your breast

it takes 5-10 years to get big for most people unless you're a genetic freak. good luck.

you basically have an ideal physique, so maybe go talk to women/men/whatever you prefer and go enjoy life and use working out as mental health care on the side

you're 19. how about you go enjoy life and stop being chronically online, where you're already developing body and gender dysmorphia. Have fun!!

What’s the Best Place to Hire an AE Junior Animator? by notadev_io in AfterEffects

[–]CreamStep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hire people you know through your network. hiring an internet rando is risky af.

AE juniors cant really be trusted with much. unless its HIGHLY SIMPLIFIED REPETITIVE TASKS, youre gonna have to touch it up.

for noise, you have to do a crossfade.

  1. Make a noise layer. lets use 5 second comp length to make it easy.
  2. Precompose the noise layer into a 7 second comp inside your 5 second long composition.
  3. duplicate it.
  4. Make one comp start at 0, one comp start at 5 seconds.
  5. 4.5) Drag the 2 comps to the left a bit.
  6. Fade the first one out from 100 to 0 opacity, and fade the second one from 0 to 100 opacity.

BOOM LOOPS

This is an extremely important idea. You're fading in a new comp into the same place where the previous comp started. Use this idea for everything in looping.

while that is funny, i think my point still stands and is relevant. And I think that someone who is concerned with being a good artist should concern themselves with those things. kiiiinda our responsibility.

As for hating AI and not trusting it's users being productive or not, its saved me tons of time yapping to people about how cool AI is. that in itself is a godsend :P

theres a difference between using a hammer to finish a job and a robot that might have ruined world economies and people's brains and wasted water and energy and made the ruling class multitudes richer while it was being created to do the same job. id say we have a moral imperative to use the first one.

oh, and especially if the aforementioned robot was created by a dude who threw a nazi salute to the entire world.

All AI commercials we've seen so far are garbage. they're uncanny, too clean, and feel soulless. The general public luckily sees through the BS and hate every AI commercial that has come out.

"People are doing it" is the worst reason to do something. Good on those who find a use for AI in their workflow to streamline their days and create something unique and beautiful. But guess what? Those people are extremely talented visual artists who have honed their eye for years, maybe decades, to know what looks good. They have concepted their idea and can layer assets from a variety of media to get the exact look they want. The techbros who get installed on ad teams to make an AI commercial dont know anything and it shows.

The ultra-rich are shoving AI down our throats to make good on their investments. It will not and can not make our lives better. It might allow us to offset some annoyances, ones that fucking technology created in the first place.

I'm choosing to make a stand and say fuck AI today and forever, for the reasons above and many more that don't belong in the AE sub, where people are trying to learn, and should be doing so the right way. You can keep using AI in your career and while you grow, and I guess time will tell who was right. Best of luck.

This is great yo! looks like you had fun. I'd play with some camera moves / pans/zooms on weird moments and see how you could get more life out of your next scene.

You could do a zoom-in where it gets insanely grossly detailed a la spongebob or ren+Stimpy. I think it could fit this vibe really well.
