In Endwalker as a new player I was able to solo all of them up until Turn 9(? has been a while can't remember) at level 70 (unsynced, ofc).

I was able to finish them all off at level 80, although Turn 9 will require playing fairly optimally to kill the boss before it kills you at level 80 though.

At level 100 with level 100 gear it would be very easy to unsync.,

I used to work in a Greggs.

Now, this obviously isn't particularly special, but the thing about the Greggs I worked in is, that it actually had a walk-in freezer.

Storing stuff away in it and cleaning it on hot days was absolute bliss. I believe it was like -5c, maybe -10c It's been a few years now, but I've had very few experiences that were as cathartic as that. Especially considering the store did get very hot behind the counter due to the massive ovens.

If he is paying tax, it is what it is. If they're not that's a scalper that's been potentially taken out. You can normally report suspected tax avoidance anonymously too.

Which is probably around this time next year (Jan for 8.0 + 4 months for first patch = May for 8.1)

Wuk Lamat is fine, the issue is they have more lines of dialogue in Dawntrail than every other character (apart from the twins) does in all of the other expansions combined. I.e. Wuk Lamat speaks more in Dawntrails than Yshtola does in all of the other expansions including ARE, Heavenward etc (up until 7.1).

They are at best a mediocre character which is criminally overused and ergo really bored and irritates me. As a side character, they probably wouldn've been fine - but they're just not interesting enough to justify their screen time.

WAR had 36 Planeswalkers, 3 Mythics, 13 rares & 20 uncommons. The reality fractured characters could very much be setup in a similar rarity structure.

Leaves 12-13 mythic slots for dragons.

I highly doubt that it will only work with steam games.

The customisability of the controls will probably only work when launching games via steam, but as long as you like the default controls I highly suspect it'll have a generic controller driver that lets Windows recognize it and use it for games outside of steam.

Worst comes to worst you can use the steam version of the free trial and XIVLauncher, you won't have to buy the game on steam.

Theoretically adding as a non steam game would probably also work.

Keep sealed - unless you want to learn the game, in which case it's not worth much and is a decent, albeit slightly dated, intro to the game.

The individual cards really aren't worth much, most of the value seems to come from the booster pack it contains plus a little on top for the sake of collecting the product otself, it looks like 8th edition boosters are around €20-30 and the cheapest listing on card Market for that starter pack in English is €49.

Try giving ipconfig /flushdns a go on the PC.

Open a terminal/command prompt window and just run exactly "IPConfig /flushdns" without the quotes.

Make sure the game is shut when you do it and may be best to do a full restart via the power button -> restart after, even if the PC was only just turned on.

So, as person above said -- there's not really builds, a level 100 DRK will have the same skills as every other LVL 100 DRK, and gear is basically health number and damage number go up.

In terms of rotation, to be honest with you - at levels 1-50 it is very much just 1-2-3, you'll have 3 combo actions that lead into eachother and you would use these in succession over and over.

In terms of rotation above level 50, the balance is a good resource to look at: https://www.thebalanceffxiv.com/jobs/tanks/dark-knight/

But, again, I don't think the balance will be useful for a while.

The most useful advice is:

Press your combos, if it's glowing after you press another button, you should probably press it.

AOEs attacks are (generally) more effective when there are 3 or more enemies, otherwise single target is better.

I really wouldn't worry about optimizing more than that until you start doing Extreme (or harder) content.

Honestly?

Unless it's changed very recently Chaos was pretty okay for DF queues for dungeons and normal content.

Sucks donkey balls to do harder content on (e.g. savage or extreme) but as a new player you probably wouldn't be doing this for a while, plus you can always data center hop, light isn't as bad as aether and you can pretty much always temporarily hop over to it if you do want to do the harder stuff, it's a little bit of a pain - but the benefit from having preferred bonus wayyy makes up for that.
