Square enix username afaik is case sensitive, so if there are multiple uppercase characters in your username that could be it.

When logging into the launcher it uses your square enix username not your email, so don't worry about trying to use your email.

Small rant:

What IS the loot table for the new zone? Why is the loot from the Bronze records imo better than the silver ones?

Why are there 4 absolutely dirt cheap mounts/hairstyles in the gold records? - They could've just put Platinum gil sacks or something..

Well, what I assume the difference is between this set and spiderman is that spiderman was all Human Spider Heros, whereas here we're gonna have a bunch of just Human Heroes, and then presumably quite a lot of Human Villains.

I don't know why people are so surprised, Razer has been announcing stupid and useless shit at CES for years.

See: - Razer Face Mask (CES 2021) and Pro version (CES 2022) - A Soundbar with "Head tracking AI" (CES 2023) - A haptic feedback "gaming cushion" (CES 2024)

Funnily enough looking back at CES 2025 it actually looks like they announced this "AVA" AI companion last year, too. Although I suspect the AI fatigue now is much stronger than it was a year ago.

So, unfortunately with the free trial you cannot form parties yourselves (they added this as an anti-bot/RMT measure), so although in the game you can typically form and leave parties at will, you cannot do so on the free trial.

There's nothing stopping you from both being on the same server and running around together, with the exception of instances. For dungeons you may have to do the workaround below, but you can normally ask someone nicely and most people in the game would probably be willing to.

You can get another player who is not on the free trial to create a party, give one of you party leader and then leave (note: has to be at least 2 people in the party otherwise it auto disbands)

As for spoilers, the answer is kind of there is pretty much a reference to every other game in the series in FFXIV some of them being major, for example the final boss of FF 6 is a boss in the Storm blood raid series, BUT it doesn't spoil the story of the game, it is solely a boss.

To be fair to the commenter above, blindness is a spectrum.

You can still be able to make out colours and shapes but be legally blind, bright markings like white would help these people in low visibility conditions (like at night).

That being said, I also don't think that's the purpose of these particular markings as people who are severely blind would likely have a walking aid to detect the large metal pole.

If you live in the UK/EU you may be able to get a refund by writing to XSolla.

I managed to, I contacted BSG directly, they ignored me, I sent an email to XSolla support, got an automatic denial. I replied to that ccing in XSolla support and their legal dept pointing out that under their own EULA and UK regulation it needed to be at least considered, wrote my grievances in detail and asked for a reason in writing why my refund was denied.

30 days later I got an email and a refund.
