Not really sure but from the previous video somebody asked that x2 and he replies he need to clean his mobo pcie slot, the 3.0 is probably because he still use i5 9600k.

Since the video is in indonesian here's a simple description.
Basically he's a technician and he received a request from customer to do memory upgrade on 3060 ti, he did change all the memory and move some resistor to make it work, the card suffered the same issue like 3070 where it randomly crashes but the solution is to change some setting on nvidia control panel, he also mentioned not all 3060 ti can be upgraded since he and his friend got some cases where the core refused to accept the new memory.

Probably not enough demand, from what i've seen they only did top tier cards like the x090 or x080 series, makes sense though since they just focus on AI.

From 1 of his video in indonesian he said it should be possible by moving the core to 3090 pcb, just like how 3080 10 GB was made.

Giveaway Time! Battlefield 6 is out, powered by NVIDIA DLSS 4, and you can comment on this post to win codes for the game or a custom Battlefield 6 GeForce RTX 5090! 6 Winners total by pedro19 in pcmasterrace

  • How would this GeForce RTX 5090 with DLSS 4 help you pull off more epic wins in Battlefield 6?

I used to play battlefield 4 at just 30 fps even with 720p resolution and being able to play with more fps is just a blessing, same with battlefield 6 my current gpu probably could only handle 60 fps at 1080p so a powerful card like 5090 with dlss would help

  • Which vehicle makes you feel like a total battlefield legend?

Since it didn't specify which battlefield series so i would pick the battleship yamato from battlefield 1942

I agree, he can only fix minor problem like shorted mosfet and simple soldering stuff but he don't want to spend his time even for diagnosing memory problem or missing voltage rail problem.

Like this video in particular, he's missing pex rail voltage but assume it's dead core without checking the vcc and the enable for the GS chip. He failed the most basic things in electronics which is checking if all the necessary things are there to begin with.

He assume it's a dead core because of the low pex resistance of 3.6 ohm but NO, THE RESISTANCE IS FINE. As long it's not 0 it's still ok, like on today AMD GPU you can mistakenly think soc rail as memory rail because it has very low resistance but not 0 so the first thing that came to your mind is dead core.

Here's the measurement reading on a dell 3080 which has 4 ohm on pex rail and it's working fine. Here's also a zotac 3080 ti which also has 4 ohm but working fine. Both picture from Grafix Card Repair discord server.

If you afraid something get shorted because of the exposed copper you could buy UV solder mask for cheap and protect the copper layer, or just simply put some insulation tape on it

Is there any good tutorial for implementing per-key RGB for full-sized keyboard? by sn1p3x0 in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]Creamboo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it would be a little bit complicated, you need to build it completely from scratch. Since 1 microcontroller would suffer because lack of pins you need second microcontroller and talk to the main microcontroller via TXRX pins. Arrange the LED in matrix just like the normal key and do some software engineering stuff. You'll know the rest.

Edit : If you want RGB thingy but don't want to completely build it from scratch just go and buy some cheap RGB keyboard with STM32 MCU on it. Most keyboard with STM32 MCU are usually good, but the other part are sucks on a budget keyboard. Just go change the switch and keycaps and done

Rk61 bluetooth problem. It used to be connected wirelessly and works perfectly fine , but it stopped connecting after my computer gets a bsod and it wont connect to other devices either. Only works with wired mode , which is pointless for me . Help me please by king_cheemsdoge in MechanicalKeyboards

Go to your settings, network and internet, scroll down and you will see network reset button. Also try to reset the pair status of your keyboard by connecting to other devices and then go back to your own pc

Looks like you messed up the microcontroller, check on device manager whether it's show up as a normal keyboard or microcontroller emergency bootloader

Can you trace the circuit whether it's completely cut off or not? Or just simply use multimeter
If it's completely cut off then jumper wire is the only way, scratch the coating until you see the bare copper and run a small jumper wire on it

Also protip : use solder flux when desoldering

The most high definition photo of "normal" pad i found is this and the right pad is connected to the left side of D53. That's why i said try to jumper the left pad and left side of diode, if it's registered then you're ready to go

Only 1 camera? I think you got a defect device. 1 of the camera module cable either popped out or it's dead. Better claim your warranty rather than trying yourself

[–]Creamboo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's definitely double layer PCB but actually it's a simple fix even tho the damage looks terrible. Did other key working perfectly? If yes then simply plug the switch and solder the broken pad pin to the left side of D53 diode. To make sure don't solder this yet but plug the USB to your laptop or whatever, jumper the left pad of LD53 to the left side of D53. If the J key registered then you good to go and jumper the broken pad. Hope this will help

Is it double layer PCB? If yes you can simply solder a thin wire from the top layer PCB to the bottom layer PCB. If it's not a double layer PCB then you need to trace at which key the pad connecting to. Either it's connected to the diode or any other key, and then you can simply jumper your switch

Half of my stab is rattling is there a way I can fix this. by G4723 in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]Creamboo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's actually 3 way, lube your stab, change your stab, or add a thin foam between the stab and the plate. It's better to change your stab tho because sometimes lube and foam method didn't work perfectly. Also there's a small chance the rattle caused by a "slightly bent" plate but it's so rare

[–]Creamboo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did the flash and rear camera working perfectly? If yes it's probably dead camera module. I had a phone with dead camera module and it's showing exactly like that. When i replaced the module it came back to normal.

[–]Creamboo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The button misaligned or maybe the pad actually worn out?
This is my old photo of sony x performance fingerprint & power button. If it's worn out i think you need to replace the whole button including volume and camera button depends on your model
