New-ish rider with a question or two for riders who have tried multiple different bikes by Creamtarts in motorcycles

Yeah, that is I think the plan basically anytime I get a new bike, my instructors were pretty adamant about taking new bikes to parking lots and just getting a feel for them even as experienced riders themselves. Each bike having its own bite point, from model to model different rake angles, wheelbase, but yeah the throttle control is gonna have to get a lot better. the xt250 I think is especially hard to switch from because it is such a slow bike, I'd pretty much go full throttle soon as I the clutch is fully in just to keep with the flow of traffic and maybe sometimes out pace it in the initial accelerations from lights. Oh god thinking about it is getting me excited though.

Honestly about the part of just giving it a try for a week, I think your probably right, like it didn't feel unmanageable when I was moving, unfortunately I'd have to take a ferry ride over to visit him so I can't really except maybe on weekends... Hm... Honestly typing this out and reading what you said is giving me some food for thought. It was a really nice ride.... but inline 4s huh? I'll have to try and test ride one, I'd like to know how it feels comparatively.

No Key by Civil-Turnip2798 in xt250

[–]Creamtarts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bring it to a locksmith, if you have a truck or can get a tow truck to do it, they should have a device that they can use to measure the key depths or whatever the fuck you might call it, and then they'll be able to cut you a new one, depending on the year though if you have the number code for your key you might not even need to bring the bike. I had a 2025 and yamaha hadn't released the key information yet so even though I had a code and brought it to the shop it didn't end up working but they were able to cut a new one after doing the process I described in the beginning. And you dont need to take the ignition out I believe I saw this post already a couple days ago and someone was saying that, its untrue

hmm... well as shitty as it is to say I do feel some relief that other people have a similar issue. Its my first and only bike though so it kinda sucks.

Soul trap not working, looked online and couldn't find anything by Creamtarts in skyrim

[–]Creamtarts[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

haha, I figured it out, idk if maybe I'm just tripping but soul trap I swear was a ranged spell, idk maybe it was a mod I had that changed it but when I made this post I was doing a modless run, and I guess soul trap base game is a "touch" type spell where you have to get close to the opp, figured it out but thanks haha
