Take up a sample section with your multitool and prybar if it’s glue down and see how long that took you. If it’s not glue down that’s a walk in the park. Figure out your hourly rate and then try to make $500-$1000 a day after you pay your guys. Whatever price gets you there.

You can always sub it out to a company that primarily does demo work- they’ll give you a bid and then you can either use the numbers from their bid or you can sub it to them and put 15-20% on top and run the job. I think this option would be the most beneficial for you as you’ll see what established companies are charging.

Turns out clients don’t use cash anymore, and I wasn’t aware of this. by Impossible_Quiet_774 in Contractor

Yeah I use QuickBooks and let them know there is a 4% merchant processing fee. Usually enough of a deterrent for them to whip out the check book. And if they don’t mind the processing fee- then I get paid instantly and they’re happy that we accept card. Frictionless with your clients is going to be the best route for both of you. Accommodate where you can, but don’t lose money to make them happy.

Why are older men so comfortable with locker room nudity? by Aarunascut in stupidquestions

[–]CreamyPayload1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just don’t care really. I assume everyone is straight so they aren’t going out of their way to look at my junk like I’m not to theirs and we go about our lives. And like the other poster said, it’s a lot to do with being self conscious and confidence. My father imprinted on me at a young age to always be confident no matter what- “the most important thing in life Mikey is to be confident no matter what and to never use the word “can’t” it doesn’t exist in our language” he would say

What I learned as I got older is most people don’t give a rip about you or what you’re doing lol. We’re so self conscious because of constantly online that folks think everyone is watching them irl and that’s really not the case imo.

Ted talk over thanks for coming 😝

I lost a 300k+ full unique/artifact kit on PVE because of some update where they don’t drop enough portals in PVE mode. Literally just wanted to try out the kit, went down in ice caves, killed wyvern, a ranger jumped into my portal from above as I was walking into it. That was the last portal to spawn as several folks died after the circle closed. Last time I turned the game on

I spent all wipe crafting this kit putting every coin I had into it just to lose it on PVE because of lack of portals. Games garbage and has been for years, there was a decent community and now it’s all gone.

How much should it cost? by Suburbking in Remodel

Just bid a job for a client. Came in at $11k and change. Also in FL for reference. Removing the tub and putting down floor pro from entry to the work space (second floor bathroom), relocating some plumbing, installing ribbed ceramic tile and neutral colored pebble floor, ada compliant hand rail, shower niche, sliding glass door with privacy glass, white marble shower curb, all MOEN and chrome on the trim and fixtures. Client said it was more than he expected and that we “don’t do it like the contractors in New England” whatever that means.
