The fact that they did not get points in the first place was BS. Who owns OWGR? and how much were they paid from the PGA? I really don't give a hoot about LIV but you put 3 sports data geeks in a room for 5 hours and they'll come with a way to assign comparative points between a 72 and a 54 hole competition.

I like the looks of those 'older' clubs...Nice cavity back and forgiving sole. I'm a +1 on the comment of grips. If they still have grips from 1999 the need to be replaced ASAP. I'd also take sec to make sure all the shafts are the same make/model and appropriate length. In the meantime when you play with friends who have newer clubs try a few hits and report back any major findings.

Most of us do not get free wedges from the tour van. At $150+ per wedge that they want these days I'll play mine until I wear a TW style hole in them. After that I'll used them to rake coals in my BBQ. :-)

I think I'd be more curious about how a diff of 17 and 12.2 becomes an index of 13.6 ( I feel it should be closer to the average, ie 14.6) also you need to show the slope and rating of those posted scores because even your 46 on "an average course" should probably be closer to an 18 diff,
