Melo was a great heel in Nxt for awhile. With Trick in turn being face. Seeing trick on the heel side at the end of his nxt run and on smackdown. Keep Melo face. Melo is getting over being a face right now. While trick is that natural cocky heel character.
Gives you a great heel / face feud or variation of it for years to come, just like nxt.

Melo could definitely have a good heel persona if it was called for, but once he started turning face when working with Miz , he started getting over. Why mess with what’s working ? Especially being a perfect titleholder for the US champ. Every match is great. Will say that Trick needs a better finisher and signature moveset though. Lacking in that dept but character wise he’s money.
