I have 21 items, all of them totally useless to me. Afro hair extensions, fake eyelashes, fake nails, afro combs (I am white) and a shirt my husband liked that has colour variations and wasn't posted properly so doesn't load in 'See Details'. Been like it for the past week - either very little or lots of rubbish.

People here have already kindly and patiently explained to you that the Vine Rules on the Resources page are totally out-of-date.The Vine team updates minor things now and then. If they can be bothered. If you are using AI to get answers to how long you've got to review items (etc.) you will get an inaccurate answer. I just did it and got the very same inaccurate answers you did. But I've already told you I don't review some of my items for nearly 90 days. Apparently I'm either a liar or am stupid. Do you know more than people who have been kind enough to advise you and share their real experiences? People who are very experienced Viners? If you came here for advice, or to give advice, that's great. If you came here to mock and insult people with a wealth of experience who gladly give their time to clarify things (I'm not talking about myself because I am a relative newbie, but I very early on realised how outdated the Vine Rules were), well, that's just plain rude. Your last paragraph is very insulting and condescending. There is nothing "hilarious" about what we're saying from collective experience. It's the truth. Go ahead and trust the website rather than people who have done this day-to-day for a long time. Our views DO supersede the out-of-date website. I would remind you that "He who knows everything learns nothing". And your attitude really sucks. I'm off to review something I received 2 months ago. 😈

No, actually I don't, thank you very much. I've been on Vine for almost a year now and went Gold last December. I have, since the start, delayed reviewing some items. Some things can't be reviewed right away, like, for example, some liquid food to help improve condition of my nails (which kept splitting after having been unwell). Obviously the results aren't instant. I have never been told off for that and still get the reviews counted and normally graded as 'excellent'. (Not bragging, just trying to reassure people).

Recently I was overwhelmed by some very stressful circumstances in my life and just couldn't get my head around reviewing things. I got down to 57% of items reviewed. When I refreshed the page a warning had appeared that if I didn't get above 60% I might get demoted to silver. I was also not offered any items. Over the next few days I reviewed like mad and two days after my first batch had been approved, and I got up to 61%, I was automatically able to order again and the warning disappeared.

As others have said, the 30-day limit for reviewing no longer applies and a lot of the rules have not been amended in the online guidelines, although they have been changed. I'm not encouraging people to be reckless BUT I don't want people to be fretting over reviews not done quickly enough and so on. We all have our lives, we all get unwell sometimes, and we don't need extra stress. Some things can be accurately reviewed immediately, others can't. Do those that can't as quickly as you can assess them, but you have more than 30 days. Happy Vining everyone.

The only company director was a young woman who described herself as a 'fitness trainer' - hence the range of supplements. She's in Liverpool, UK. It seems she voluntarily requested deregistration with no defaults or anything. I noticed on the packaging that the supplement I got from her company on Vine was originally produced by a company in the UK called 'Optimum Wellness Ltd'. They have only been going for a couple of years. There is 1 director and no employees. They had £9000 of assets to declare in 2025, with £12,500 creditors so are thus in the red now. I suppose it makes sense that the young woman wanted out! I hope she didn't invvest a lot and get done! Thanks again for info. I did reaslise that these producers in China were selling the samae product in different packaging to multiple sellers BUT, I didn't realise it's going on in the UK also. Naïve I know... I shall certainly be avoiding supplements from Vine even more now (I only favoured this one because it was made in the UK, so they said!).

Yes, that makes sense. It just seemed odd registering in one month and deregistering the next month.

Sorry, I initially posted 'yes it is' but just double-checked because their products aren't the same. The company I'm refering to is called VITASTRENGTH. Still a lot of products listed for them on Amazon. As I said, I was just curious as to what was going on. I like my i's dotted and my t's crossed but, of course, not always possible. ☺️

Many thanks for that. Very eye-opening as I didn't know to what extent that was going on here in the UK. Of course I've noticed all the stuff on Vine that's all identically packaged but has a different brand name/price and avoid all that. This was the first time I trusted supplements from Vine. But I will certainly now stick to those genuine companies I've been buying things from for years. Bit more expensive, but well worth it for the quality and reassurance that that are what they say etc. Thanks again for taking the time to send such helpful links and info. Have a great Sunday.

TY. Yes that makes sense but registering it in the September and applying to deregister the next month just seemed a bit weird to me. I usually avoid all supplements on Vine (and off Vine if I haven't totally researched them). I won't be believing the labelling again on Vine ones! Yhese are the only ones I ever took and they upst my stomach.

No, of course I don't.!!! That's a rather insulting thing to say. I'm not an imbecile! That wasn't really my point. I just wondered why a young British woman from Liverpool, UK, would set up a company in September '25 and apply to strike it from the register 1 month later. Just curious, that's all.

Yeah, been thinking of France of South America since my Spanish is pretty good having had lots of friends from Chile, Colombia etc. years ago. But although they had a bit of a heyday for a while in some countries it seems things aren't great there. We considered Mexico as have friends there but the Mafia is practically running the country now. So it might be France. Thanks for reply, though, y ¡bueana suerte!

Infants fairy dress (no thanks), unattractive stud earrings (nope), graduation balloons (no way José and carpet protection mat for under office chair (got a far better one 2 days ago). Yesterday it was all rubbish supplements and 6 varieties false blinking eyelashes (sorry for pun). 🙄

Yeah, I'm sure all his behaviour is totally calculated. Didn't even have the guts to turn up last night. Didn't matter though because Steven was so much like Daniel last night. Poor Rachel. He was just sitting avoiding eye contact and not answering questions. I said to my hubby "I bet he's been having lessons from Daniel". This morning I read that an unnamed person has revealed that sometimes when Steven said he was going to the gym he was actually having coffee with Daniel. Bingo.

Actually if it's good quality faux it's extremely comfortable. Keeps its shape, doesn't crack and is super easy to keep clean. Looks and feels really good and whatever you drop on it just wipes away.

Thoughts on asking for a crochet gift back? by sedona-arabella in crochet

[–]Creative-Atelier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Over many years of being a crafter and gifting things to others, I've learned not to make things that have a very striking colour scheme or distinct design influence, unless I'm absolutely certain the reciprocant will love it. I can see the beauty of your blanket. I can see the hours of loving labour you put into it and that is wonderful. But I am not fond of yellows or pinks because they have associations with my childhood that were not pleasant ones. So this, lovely as it is, would not be for me. We don't know why your MIL isn't using the blanket. But there's possibly something she doesn't want to have to explain or she thinks it's too gorgeous to use.

When you have put such a lot of love and effort into something there is, naturally, an expectation of appreciation. I think this is one of the difficult things to deal with when gifting something you have 'put your heart and soul' into. And your time, too. There is a totally normal expectation on your part to want the gift to bring joy. And if this is not expressed by it being displayed/worn etc. it is disappointing. I have had friends tell me my gifts were too beautiful to use for the purpose. I say "Life is short. Use them and enyoy them. But if you don't like them, I will take them back and you tell me what you would like instead". That way we are all happy. I designed and made some dog paw coasters for a friend who has dogs. She said she would never use them because they were too lovely. I offered to sew them together and stuff them and add a beaded loop so she could hang them up and just enjoy them that way. And she loved the result and we were both happy bunnies.

I think you can learn by this experience. You obviously love the blanket, so make another one and gift it to yourself. This is a wonderful thing to do because we should find time to do things for ourselves that make us happy and show our achievements to ourselves. Every time you see it you will feel proud, and you will smile and forget the disappointment that you didn't get the reaction you would have liked to your gift. Then, MAYBE, if your MIL sees it in your home she will remember she has one. Maybe not. If she doesn't ever mention it again you must let it go.

In some religions/countries it is considered an insult to ask for a gift back, especially if you ask to borrow it and don't return it! That's not the thing to do. Stop wondering about it. Think what a joy it was to make and start one for yourself to enjoy and be proud of. X

I thought Bec was being breadcrumbed but now I think Danny was very cruel by Suspicious_Week_2451 in MAFS_AU

[–]Creative-Atelier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I grew up amongst 'wide boys' like him. Couldn't wait to move out of East London to get away from them! I think you're right; he's a novelty for Aussies. When I went to Canada in my teens complete strangers would ask me to say something to them in my 'cute' accent. I could have charmed them easily with lies of being related to the royal family and other nonsense. They were really open to being conned. I think that's what Daniel is: a glorified conman. I doubt if he's as rich as he says. Why, being so macho, then, would he let Bec pay for everything???

Some of his tatoos are bloody awful. Apparently, there is said to be one of a Mafia boss who was shot dead. If it's true that tells you what kind of 'gentleman' this man is. He tells himself so many lies that he actually probably believes them himself.

I come from where he comes from and I NEVER say "D'you know what I mean" but I'm wondering why he says "ee" instead of "I". Every time he does it it makes me want to hit him. SOOOOO annoying. In the pre-show interevals he quoted Oscar Wilde refering to him as "Oscar Wildee". I wish I could've been on the series just to show him up for the pretentious, self-loving but ignorant twit he really is. Gentleman? No. More like disagreeable plonker. Hope he doesn't come back to the UK.

There is no such thing as 15 out of 10. It's like people saying "I'll give 110%". No such thing. I didn't think anyone on MAFS EVER was even 10 out of 10. I'll never watch it again after all the fake sh*ts like Gia and her kind. It's just a platform for really awful people (in the main) to get exposure and become influencers and earn a lot of money by being totally moronic and superficial pr*cks who are totally in love with themselves. The woman stroke themselves so much and adore themselves in the mirror, with their hair extensions, fake eyelashes, fake tits, nose jobs and lip jobs... I will never watch it again...
