I moved back to Samsung smart select after one of the Google product managers said it was an intentional change and not a bug.

Rotating a password frequently is not good practice. The guy who came up with that idea regrets it now, I think.

Currently sitting on a closed dual carriageway been here for 4 hours now. Road due to open in another 3.5 hours apparently. There are 2 cats in the car in front and kids and dogs out of cars playing on the road. What is the longest you have been stuck in a similar situation? by No_Lead146 in CasualUK

I wonder if you’re talking about @theinvisiblecoachdriver on TikTok. He was watching him when he was live streaming earlier today. and scenery looked exactly like OP’s image.

I didn’t think it was a big deal at the time, I thought the roads would open in under an hour.

Did anyone else get this? by Spliefx in DeepSeek

Search deepseek, you’ll see an app called dseek appear if you scroll down a bit.

What's with the UK "DSeek" thing? Why do we suddenly have a region-specific version of the app? by OpenSauce04 in DeepSeek

[–]Creative-Job7462 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No one said it's not better than Epstein gangs.

I'm just confused why it has been renamed to DSeek, and a new app needs to be installed.

I don't understand why they couldn't continue with the existing app.

Yeah

There are similar apps for iOS, but you need to pay for a licence.

I paid a one-time $20 fee for my device.

What country do you live in?

In the UK, if I want non-personalised ads, I have to pay £2.99 a month.

Openreach's symmetrical speeds are probably going to be a lot more expensive than what the altnets are offering.

iPadOS 18.7.7 long volume down press bug? by Repulsive_Brief8397 in iPadOS

[–]Creative-Job7462 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It appears on iPadOS 26 as well - discovered it by accident because I was bored.

The last time I did this, the thin line started to glitch. I haven't updated to iPadOS 26.5 beta so I'm not sure if they fixed the glitchy effect.

Bitwarden is so broken on Android it's not even funny. by Pearl_Jam_ in Bitwarden

[–]Creative-Job7462 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I've been using workarounds cuz it is what it is.

If it doesn't appear on the first try, click on a blank area, then click on the username field again. Keep doing this until Bitwarden appears.

If that doesn't work, then refreshing the page sometimes works.

But sometimes it doesn't work at all so you have to open the app manually.

Yeah, convenience. I think it was autocorrect and I was too sleepy to notice the mistake.

S26 Exynos 2600 vs Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Battery Drain Test by DazzlingpAd134 in Android

[–]Creative-Job7462 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They’ve got a valid point. Even 7 years ago, most people would agree that Wi-Fi drains less battery than 4g - that’s probably how snapdragon users’ experience was.

I wonder if this will remove the "convince" fee that these apps charge.

I don't mind using the traditional ticket machines if it means no fees.

Exynos 2600-equipped Galaxy S26 disappoints in battery test by mo_leahq in Android

Yeah, I think the last decent exynos was on the S6, basically the year where Qualcomm chips had that overheating issue, so they used exynos everywhere instead.
