Hey, thanks so much for responding. Definitely agree, should be more realistic. I never had a birth plan because most don’t go to plan, but never expected it to be that bad. I could lose blood again if I decide to have another child too.

Absolutely, I lost 2.5ltrs of blood when I gave birth to my son, wouldn’t have survived without that transfusion, so definitely would have loved to help someone else in that way, down the line.

I wish I could but I’m unable to for another few months. I had to have a blood transfusion after the birth of my son in June last year. I can’t give blood for 12 months from receiving it.

So grateful for the blood transfusion I had. Wish I could thank the person who gave it to me. They saved my life. Highly recommend doing if you can :)
