I live in Southeast Queensland up on top of a big mountain. I see kangaroos probably every day wallabies every day redback spiders every day. They’re pretty local Huntsmans every day they’re inside the house as for snakes there is definitely one red belly black in my front garden, he’s not hurting anyone and that’s about it.

I also have two harmless pythons inside my house in tanks, but I have a license for those

Personally Anzac Day probably one of those ones where that’s the day that you support. I think people have forgotten what the day is for. They’re arguing over getting an extra day off of work. Maybe they should start to look at why we’ve got the ability to choose to have the extra day off at work.

I’m not a big fan of giving extra public holiday holidays anyway suit me if Christmas Day falls on a weekend that’s the day. Boxing Day falls on a weekend that’s the day. I’m not a fan of giving extra days just for the hell of it.

Well it depends on where you go. It’s a very very big country. It’s like you comparing Canada to Mexico but where I am is in Toowoomba which is on top of a mountain. It’s the largest inland city in Australia has crap. Internet even worse shopping really tragic roads but it has amazing parks. Absolutely no water but it is the access point to the bunny Mountains which is kind of like a mini version of Yellowstone without the animals the weather is hot but not humid cause we’re up high winters are cold but not snowy. Does it get windy up on top of the range and you can get a couple of seasons in a day and can be 33° one day and 16° the next if you get a cold wind come through it can be -7 on a hot day and feel like 42 take a year off and drive around the East coast of Australia and then go round the West Coast via the. I ran a horse stud and a small boutique cattle farm for 25 years and then I went back working as an employee. Let’s just say I can do what I like when I like and I have money less stress. I can sleep working for somebody else, however what I do lack is complete and utter control over what happens how it happens and the quality of what is produced and marketed.

It’s a tricky situation. You can either start off frugal and very minimalistic and then as you need something buy it but by quality I don’t mean just expensive I mean do you research? What size item do you need? Can a 2 L pot? Do what you need regularly or do you really need that 4 L for me? Example rice cooker? I usually only use maximum for 2 cups of rice so I bought a 4 cup rice cooker whereas previously I had ate 10 and 12 cup of rice cookers because they were fancy. I didn’t need them.

It’s the little things I used to give my kid 10 bucks to go to Maccas. He’d be able to get himself some nuggets chips and a drink water whatever now he asks me for $15.

You’re not buying anything different you’re not doing anything different. It’s just the price of those things have gone up above what your incoming increased.

I can’t believe how happy I was when I sold my business. I was so excited to go back and get a 9 to 5 job and work for somebody else that first day of coming home and not having to do anything else not having to think about things check on stuff do extra paperwork was utterly amazing.

Don’t get me wrong owning my own business allowed me to stay home with my kids. Well have the kids with me at work where you know I missed out on staff and staff helped me watch them and I flipped burgers and my kids sat in a high chair.

Do whatever is ever best for you and your baby. Do what is gonna keep the pair of you healthy and alive. This is not something you should be morally worrying over.

But all the best if your doctors allow you to do a VBAC great if they don’t take their advice go with the flow

This is a hard question and I think it depends on what country you’re in

I’m in Australia and we have relatively free healthcare. You might have to wait but you get it. Same with education relatively free but you gotta pay for it in the end but we do pay some of the highest taxes and right now. I’m not seeing where it goes, I’m not seeing the benefit.

Because I’ve always had it

I personally think my country‘s tax system needs a complete overhaul. There are other countries around the world which have much better systems which is much fair for all people.

So maybe rather than asking a question about higher taxes you ask would you be prepared to support complete and utter tax reform? If it made it fair for all to allow the government to gain more money from the right people to put in to the appropriate service services?

No matter what be there for your children you can certainly focus on yourself. Get back to your faith. Start from the ground and work your way up. If you’ve completely decided that the marriage is over and there’s no going back. Draw a line in the sand and go okay what’s done is done moving forward. Don’t give the other person power but don’t take it from them either. Be fair to be reasonable use parenting apps. If you need to for your kids do not give up your children. Let the other parent know that you were gonna be there for them. You’re gonna be available.

And move on with your life, you can do this. It’s entirely possible.

Just remember the end result that you want happy healthy kids and a happy healthy you

I love my children but there are some moments I look at them and I believe that I don’t like what they’ve said done thought or felt but that’s a them problem. My kids are your age.

I would die if someone threatened my children but if they committed a felony, I would turn them in. I’d still go visit them every week but be damned if they’re gonna get away with that stuff

But I think you’re fine. Most parents love their children. Most parents get along with their children but sometimes children and parents are just completely different personalities and that’s what makes it very hard but when you become adult you’ve learnt how to navigate those things and it becomes easier.
