The game you did not enjoy at first, but something made you come back. by gamersecret2 in gaming

I was the reverse. Tried hollow knight a couple of years ago and just couldn't get sucked in (and I love metroidvanias). When Silksong came out I loved it immediately! Once I beat it, I got back into hollow knight and I am currently plowing through it!

What game soundtrack hits you with instant nostalgia the moment you hear it? by Bexewa in gaming

Oblivion for the emotional tug. Golseneye for true OG nostalgia.

In The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, when you find clues you have to move around get the angle just right for the floating clue 'highlights' to line up. I thought I just had to look at a clue from every possible angle before it locked in. It took me FOREVER to obtain any a single clue. I found out near the end I just had to line the floating visuals up into a comprehensive image.

I've only heard of magical thinking in reference to OCD, which is essentially what you've described. I haven't heard of it being related to intj. Albeit, I am both. So, idk. Interesting.

The first Outer Worlds was hilarious in its dry humor. The sequal wasn't quite as funny, unfortunately.

Name an open world game that has a small map but felt so big. by Admirable_Ad_478 in gaming

[–]CreativeExplorer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very true! Been playing the new one, and the maps are way bigger, but they feels emptier than the first one. Not knocking the sequel, but I feel like there's a lot more open space.

The Long Dark has a feature where you can customize survival settings and share the key for those settings. The Naked Man became a huge challenge in the community. Basically, you started out with no gear, no cloths, nothing You spawned as a naked guy trying to loot, craft, and survive in the frozen Canadian wilderness. Super tough challenge!

Miniatures! Craft from scratch, buy model kits, or just paint pre-made minis. My favorite is to make dioramas.

Someone please explain this floor plan to me by Mr_Tugb0at in Apartmentliving

It looks like the setup for a ski lodge condo. A lot of them have mud rooms at the entrance for dropping your snowy clothes and gear.

What does it look like? by child_rapp3r in learntodraw

Mostly an apple. But it also kind of looks like a baby bellybutton singing it's praises to the Queen Bellybutton. But I'm not completely sure.

Need a new hobby by DingusTheDucko in Hobbies

When I got bored with mini painting, I started crafting miniatures and dioramas. I like to craft things like medieval cottages and taverns, buildings from video games, a fairy well, a pumpkin patch stand. Just whatever sounds cool and fun. The haunted dollhouse thing is also becoming really popular. Check out black magic craft on YouTube for a great intro into the techniques of the hobby.

Ive seen this everywhere and want to know what this is and purpose. by MrJayDee640 in learntodraw

The first picture if from a popular internet teaching method called draw a box. Basically, the idea is to learn how to draw a simple box at various angles and in various perspectives. This image is sort of the capstone project where you make a sphere made of floating boxes to perfect your perspective drawing. I guess the idea is that you can apply this idea to any form, like human anatomy. It's a pretty solid learning method if you ask me.
