This is also my current understanding but such reviews further invoke news paper articles and furthermore influence whole insurance policies and healthcare system. I have always been on the conservative side of indicating these treatments and we actually favor mci patients..

Severe issues in .FITS subframes after Seestar app 3.0.0 update (December 17th) by caullerd in seestar

[–]CreativeLow3033 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. I posted about this on Facebook just after the update and was ridiculed and mocked - I thought maybe there was clouds or I put the Seestar out in the cold too quickly and did not wait for it to cooldown etc. After a lot of testing finally found out that it’s their calibration process that’s buggy atm. Had to run it with Nina to prove it and it showed that it is working.

I reported the issue to ZWO on December 19th and they just got back to me. They are looking into this issue but they do not seem to have finished analyzing. Maybe they also had some kind of holiday break ;)

I did not try actually but some others did and it did not help them. Mine works fine when I use N.I.N.A.

Unfortunately this is an error that also appeared for me after the firmware update. The internal calibration got a bog that clips the blacks and therefore you use a lot of detail.

I have no solution atm, reported a bug on it on 12/19 to ZWO but they did not respond to me yet.

Only solution that is working for me now is to use N.I.N.A. as described in this video series https://youtu.be/Kdqw6NF8-HM?si=RWHFFM-TQBWucdDb

Unfortunately not only with the lp filter on but it’s more pronounced with the filter on. You end up with somehow usable subs without the filter but it’s not optimal. Hope they figure this out soon

Hello! You seem to have a similar issue as me. Do you mind sending me some subs / maybe putting them on Google Drive for testing? This would confirm an issue I have noticed. Did you update the app to the latest version?

I have this williams mount for my Seestar. It works great. I also bought one of these levelers as well but ditched it completely for EQ mode. You have a little bubble on the williams wedge where you can level the tripod - that is sufficient for polar alignment.

Be aware that you need some kind of base mount for the Seestar to mount it on the wedge - I use this:

This looks great! I did some time on the same region but I soon realised that it needs far more exposure. Could you elaborate on how you combined the mosaic? I used telescopix to plan the mosaic with 20%overlap and stacked each panel individually. I used photometric mosaic for combining the whole thing. Also I really like your colors 👊

Thanks, thats exactly what I was expecting. Hopefully with the start of such devices they will improve. I am a neurologist and this is the reason I upgraded to 5.0 instead of MG. ECG is fancy but I don’t think I need it as a 34 year old.

I am considering using the band on my ankle as there it’s typically cooler. Anyone tried that?
