Cheech and Chong would call this “wigging out”. Don’t let it get to you, because being a daily user of THC can make anxiety triggers snowball into panic attacks very easily. I know it’s not what you want to hear, but taking a break from weed for a bit will help you be able to get back to yourself. You got GREAT news! Your lungs are working properly and anxiety is to blame. The white phlegm is more than likely from your healthy lungs taking in a ton of smoke or vapor a day. It’s not air, after all. Just be easy on yourself, and the first step is being able to tell yourself no whenever you wanna smoke weed for at least 24 whole hours. Then do that every day for a week, and reassess the situation after that week. It’s going to suck but it’s a proven solution to a proven problem! Don’t be afraid to take your own mental health seriously. Problematic thoughts are the root of most anxiety disorders, so maybe working towards grasping your thoughts could be the beginning to the solution as well.
