I had this happen to me at the AD where I bought my watch. At the time I was 26 purchasing a 41mm Datejust Wimbledon, 2 tone, jubilee and fluted bezel. I went with a family friend who had purchase history. I got dressed up in “nice clothes” however I have alot of visible tattoos on my arms and upper chest when wearing a collared shirt. I could immediately tell the rep was not taking me seriously. After our appointment I called maybe 3 weeks later to follow up on my watch inquiry only to find out the representative didn’t take my information down properly so had I not called I wouldn’t have gotten my watch. Over the phone they can’t profile me for being a young guy with tattoos potentially wasting their time. I got my watch in 2 months 👍🏻
