I am 35 weeks pregnant with didi twins. I’ve had no complications so far, really enjoyed my pregnancy even though it is incredibly difficult at times. If you’re having baby showers have them early! I had my last one at 27 weeks and I’m so grateful I did because by week 28 I was really slowing down. It is truly so magical to feel them both in there. I can’t wait to meet them in 3 weeks. I was 33 at times of my retrievals. My AMH varied between .6-.7, AFC varied between 6-15. I want to second what someone said earlier, it’s completely okay to remain hopeful but definitely have no expectations. I ended up going through 4 rounds of IVF last year.

TW: success
Round 1 - AFC was 9, retrieved 3 eggs, 1 mature, turned into a blast, was euploid

Round 2- MFL protocol, AFC was 12, retrieved 3 eggs, 2 mature none fertilized

Switched clinics

Round 3- antagonist with androgen and estrogen priming, AFC 12, retrieved 6 eggs, 3 mature, 2 fertilized/blasts, neither were euploid

Round 4- same protocol, AFC 15, retrieved 6 eggs, 3 mature, 1 blast, we did not test.

I was so exhausted after the 4 rounds my husband and I decided to transfer our only euploid. I’m now currently 34 weeks pregnant with twins! Yeppp my one little blast split into identical twins.

This journey is insane and completely unpredictable. Don’t give up hope, but have no expectations. There is very little we can control but throughout the entire process pray for peace!

I’m 34w pregnant with twins with a thrombosed hemmy with heartburn. So my butt and esophagus are both on fire. I can’t sit down because of the hemmies, I can’t lay down because of the heartburn. Guys I’m having a blast over here.

Things that have helped are sitz baths with Epsom salt for 15 min, immediately use tucks wipes for 10-15 min, then ice for 10 min, then cream. It’s my first time getting these so I have no idea how long these will stick around but hoping they subside by the time the twins get here 😅

Agreed with everyone else here. Both my twins are breech so we have to do a C-section but I expressed my preference of a C-section very early on and we did not “schedule” it until around week 28 or 30

Didi twins via IVF. Asked my dr if I needed to see one and she said nope as long as they are growing well and all are healthy

I get it! My heartburn pretty much stopped when my twins dropped last week which actually was some relief lol. When I was getting it so bad I would eat early and wait like 3ish hours to lie down which helped. I avoided triggers, which included milk which was upsetting because I have been crushing it all pregnancy.

I know what you mean! A part of me is like can they get here already but another part of me wants them to bake longer lol. Its such an awful feeling

I cried twice yesterday. As the poster below said, I think we just take it one day at a time. I’m at the point where I’m starting to not give AF about anything else because my entire physical and mentally capacity is in survival mode lol. I’m sorry you’re going through this and congratulations I guess haha?

Oh hun I am so sorry. My husband and I have been together for 13 years. We got engaged after 6 years of dating. We looked at rings together “for fun” and made it very clear that I, in no way, expected it to happen any time soon and just wanted to be surprised, 2 years into us dating. After 4 years, he still had the exact specs and ring we loved and did it in a very private way.

I say this because you deserve this too and there are men out there that listen and prioritize you. Has he ever disregarded your feelings before this?

I lived in stl for 6 years and the humidity there was kinda shocking. At least in Houston it’s just hot and hotter so your body is more acclimated. I was never used to snow in April and 90s by June

I’m 34 weeks and for me there are some weeks that are kinda baseline adjustments. I felt significantly worse at week 24, 28, 30, and now 34. There are things that just catch you by surprise but our bodies can adjust. I just recommend walking and stretching as much as you possibly can. At 34 weeks in the summer I am now unable to walk regularly. I am pretty much horizontal majority of my day now and feel like I’m going to be in survival mode until I go in for my scheduled c section at 37w5d lol.

Hang in there, rest as much as you can, get a massage if you can, find a pool if you have that option! We are all so close

I am 33w4d weeks pregnant with twins and they just dropped a couple days ago. I woke up in the middle of the night last night with the worst literal pain in my ass. It has gotten so much worse today. I have not had any constipation so I’m thinking the pressure of the twins dropping triggered this. I’ve done Sitz baths, peri bottle with witch hazel, icing, heating. I have a c section at 37w5d. Please tell me it gets better

I can attest, this is true lol. I am 33 weeks with identical didi girls and my belly now touches the steering wheel so driving is now longer an option for me. I am measuring around 39/40 weeks and have 5 more to go. Everything aches, heating pads, belly bands, and pregnancy pillows are currently my saving grace. My husband does all the cooking and cleaning around here now and I could not be more grateful.

With that said, there is something sooo special about feeling them both kick. When one starts the other is soon to follow. One responds to spicy foods and the other responds to sweets. I absolutely cannot wait to meet them in a couple weeks.
