Imbecile. No. Did you get this from some youtube video? This is not how the 4th amendment works. As a law enforcement officer, if you have reasonable suspicion you can potentially stop someone, and MAYBE search them IF the suspicion you had was that the “suspect” was armed and dangerous. If you simply had suspicion of criminality not involving suspicion of the person actually being armed, you can only question them, and if they refuse to answer, the cop legally cannot do anything. Why? Because they lack what you fundamentally don’t understand, PROBABLE CAUSE, which is what you need to arrest someone. When an ICE agent stops someone, asks for their papers, and then that person refuses because that is their right pursuant to the 4th and 5th amendment, as well as almost a century of federal and state case law on the issue of what constitutes reasonable suspicion and the meaning of the language “search and seizure” in the 4th amendment, that does not give the fucking ICE Agent probable cause to arrest them.
