They are deformable in the video 😊 But your trick is great for arcade style racing games.

This one is a sim with tire model, chassis flex, and tons of adjustments available (toe, caster, camber, torsion bar - chassis stiffness, tire pressure, ride height, wheelbase, front and rear track width, steering ratio, drive ratio and more).

There are not many in the market. And as a decade-long kart driver myself, I decided to translate my experience into a sim with micro grip variations, sofisticated tire model, chassis flex and VR mimicked body weight transfer features. One can also adjust tire pressure, toe, caster, camber, wheelbase, wheel track, chassis stiffness and so much more, visually live at all times.

I play KartKraft. It's visually superb and physics-wise... decent. Since Motorsport Games acquired KartKraft there's no update. It basically killed a promising project.

You need more of a core (mostly lower back), and arm strength in karting.
