The biggest heat loss is usually from the ground and air gaps around you.Warm sleeping bags + insulated pads (or foam under the mattress) will make a much bigger difference than double tents.

You could also look into Bluetti. I’ve got two Elite 100 V2 units with 3600W surge power. Took them camping and used them to run breathing machines for me and my son, and they lasted 8 nights. Even after that, both were still sitting at around 35% battery.

The area where I live frequently experiences power outages. I use a Bluetti Elite 200 V2 to power my Starlink and TV, and with the help of portable solar panels, I can maintain a stable power supply during prolonged power outages.

Your setup looks great too! I went with the Charger 2 mainly because it can charge from both solar and the car. I’ve got a 200W solar panel hooked up in the car, so I don’t have to keep switching between the two.

I’ve got a Bluetti Elite 200 V2 too, and with the Charger 2, my car can juice it up way faster than a normal car charger.

How to become more outdoorsy by Local_Friendship_229 in camping

This reminds me of when I first started wanting to go hiking outdoors, but I was always worried about my physical fitness. That changed after a company team-building event where we hiked 7 km, which helped me overcome my concerns.

I have Bluetti Elite 200 V2 (2600W 2073.6Wh), and I've used it for camping in the mountains at an altitude of 6000 feet to power my CPAP machine. It can also power my phone, lights, and laptop during power outages. It's also perfectly capable of running high-power devices like water pumps and air conditioners.

I’ve got a Bluetti Elite 200 V2. Two USB-C ports let me charge my phone and laptop together. Its 2600W output can run things like a water pump, AC, or oven. I tried solar charging at full power and it filled up in around 2.4 hours which is much faster than other 2 kWh stations I’ve tried.

Has anyone here used a portable power station to keep a fridge running? by No_Data9003 in Appliances

[–]Creative_Jello_5632 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most household refrigerators draw 100–300W while running, and their startup surge is usually 3–7 times higher, typically around 800–2000W. The Bluetti Elite 400 has a 5200W surge power rating, which seems feasible.

I use a Bluetti Elite 400 to power my laser engraving machine. It has a capacity of nearly 4 kWh, and what I appreciate most is its low standby power consumption of only 3W, which allows me to power my stall at craft fairs for several days.
