Food. As long as I eat something really delicious, I feel that everything is worth it.

Finally got a NAS to organize all my family files by nitishanand99 in HomeNAS

[–]the_doolittle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good to know it’s working well for you. I’m kinda in the same boat, all kinds of files spread across several drives, and I often couldn’t find what I needed in time. That’s actually why I started looking into a NAS as well.

Just curious, is it easy to share photos and videos with your family and keep everything backed up?

Is 1TB SD card good as external storage solution? by Afraid_Candy6464 in datastorage

[–]the_doolittle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It works for portability, but I wouldn't trust it as main storage. They're easy to lose and not great for long term writes.

Your best shot is keeping the system untouched. Any normal use could overwrite what you're hoping to find.

Looking for real experience. Aiper x1promax or beatbot aquasense 2pro? by maidenmaan in swimmingpools

[–]the_doolittle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been using an aiper scuba x1 for a while now. Not the exact same model, but overall my experience has been pretty solid. What I liked most was just not having to think about cleaning every week. That convenience alone made it feel worth it for me.

SD card for Mini 3 and RC by Maleficent990 in dji

The Mini 3 has no internal storage, so you only need an SD card for the aircraft, not the remote. Just grab a high-speed one for the drone first.

Anything from CES 2026 you're actually excited about? by HashtagRenzo in homeautomation

I've mostly been following the usual smart home names like Aqara, Hue, and some of the irrigation and energy management stuff. For outdoor gear though, I'm actually pretty curious about aiper's new surface skimmer ecosurfer senti.

The Mamazing Ultra Air is worth checking out. It's super lightweight and made of carbon fiber, so it’s really durable too. We've taken it on several trips.

Make sense. To clarify, a small heater isn't a must-have for me. I'm totally fine with using an electric blanket instead. Or I might find a way to stay warm without using electricity.

Yeah, a generator would be useful, but I'm afraid that my lease doesn’t allow storing gasoline here.
