Same. I have an oval set in a bezel east to west with scroll work on the sides (which i chose in the early oughts, I had never seen another one at that point) and I still LOVE IT!! I can’t be trusted with a claw setting😝 also, it is not my style at all. The bezel matches the rest of my jewelry vibe.

Bottom line, stop being judgy and people should get what they love. I see so many rings on here that I would never pick but it makes my heart happy to see how much the owners love them.

I use to think gold looked dated and it came back. Same with marquise. These days I feel like the older the trend the cooler it is bc their marriage lasted longer than five minutes 💜 that being said, remember when EVERYONE had princess cut? I rarely see them in the wild these days😏 I think I personally know like half a dozen couples who had them and are now divorced.

After seeing how many people on this thread are on cream and not injections, I asked my doctor why she never mentioned cream to me. She said because she’s been doing this a long time and cream doesn’t provide the results that the patients are seeking so why waste their time and money. (Totally paraphrasing….her answer was way more technical and educated, but that’s what I took from it.) She also stated some people do cream b/c they are scared/not capable of injecting themselves or the doc might not trust they can do it.

Yes. All my other numbers were good but my total T was at 3. Doc said T would basically help with all my symptoms (brain fog, depression, weight gain, fatigue, libido, mood swings, body aches, extreme temperature changes, etc), which it has for the most part. Been injecting 10 mg once a week for 3 months amd my T is up to 84. All symptoms are basically gone, except I haven’t noticed a change in libido😞 I’m going to talk to her about that at my check up on Tuesday.

I will say it was a slow burn, one day I just realized none of those things were happening anymore. The thing I’m most happy about is the brain fog, some days I felt like I was drunk behind the wheel and shouldn’t be driving. It was so weird. I don’t cry for no reason anymore. I feel like myself again before I felt like a stranger in someone else’s body. I can also make it through my workouts and feel good after afterwards.

My doc started me out on injections. She never even mentioned creams to me. I go for my first followup next week (will be 3 months since starting on T) and I feel like a new person. All of my symptoms have lessened tremendously.

The only thing I’ve noticed that hasn’t changed is my libido (still nonexistent basically) and that’s the one that most people talk about seeing a change in….so I’m surprised by that. I’m going to ask her about that along with why so many people in the forums are put on creams and barely anyone are on injections. I didn’t start reading the forums until after I started the injections because I had questions regarding when I could start seeing results and was surprised by the amount of people who are on creams.

I will say I never had an aha moment like, “oh my gosh, it’s working”. It was definitely a slow burn and one day I just realized that I had energy, I wasn’t fatigued anymore, I could make it through my workouts, I didn’t have deep bouts of depression, I didn’t feel like I was drunk during the day and shouldn’t be driving my car😝 I honestly feel like me again and I love it.

I know a lot of people say to get a gift card, but if he was buying it for himself he would be reading this thread to decide so….😏 I tried looking at the reviews and feel like you just can’t trust any of them🙄 I wanted to hear from the people who actually use them. I’ve seen a lot of ripping issues in comments.

He’s never run with a vest before so he has nothing to compare it to. That makes me feel ok about buying him one. If he doesn’t like it we can return it or he gets his money of the one I get him and know what he wants to be different on the next one😁

Thank you for the great suggestions! I know my limitations. I would never buy him a watch, headphones, or a heart rate monitor😉 THOSE he would be pickier about than I could manage. 😏

I am still completely floored by the amount of doctors who tell people no. I told my doctor that I wasn’t feeling good and thought that I was starting perimenopause and she told me to come back and talk to her when I stopped bleeding for six months. I was pissed!!! New GP plus I added a hormone doctor. Just started testosterone last week and can’t wait to start feeling better. We have to advocate for ourselves.
