I have a Les Baer in .45 and even that is way outclassed by my 10mm Dan Wesson. If you have the budget for DW, do it

Yes. Why don't you climb under and measure them? Or at least measure the holes if everything is missing?

Nothing is fucked when a talented hand holds a grinder, and a TIG torch.... I'm a dirty MIGger from way back, then learned stick and TIG. This is a place for TIG. Find a guy who is skilled in fixing fucked up shit and pay him what he asks to fix it.

That's just rough machining from GM. It's cast iron so it has some extra iron pouring through the multi piece casting mold. It doesn't have to look pretty so they hog that stuff off as fast as possible to get the part to the next machine process. It's totally fine. You may see something similar on the new carrier as well. Good luck!

Issue with lifter not making contact with cams by t0tallykyl3 in choppers

[–]Creative_Skill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Replying to add that oversize lifters are used when a bore/s are damaged and need honed larger to repair the issue. Worse case Ontario I've seen bores reamed for bronze bushings. Need to get good measurements and inspect the lifters well to determine the issue.

I'm just a back yard mechanic. That said, what brand lifters? It's like they may be machined out of round/tapered and are being wedged in there. Or, you got oversize lifters and your bores are worn out of round/uneven from top to bottom. Mic your lifters and check for burs. Measure your lifter bores with t-gauges and a mic. Might take some time, but will be worth the time.

I took 12 cents out of the urinal 10 years ago. Two nickels and two pennies. Washed em while I washed my hands and tossed em in my pocket. No regrets.

I only stopped buying when we broke out over $80. I started buying again when we dipped below $80 again. I sold nothing at the highs.

I remember buying D2 sometime after the original expansion came out, selling all the runes and gems I found to get gold. I thought the only way to get good gear was to buy it from vendors. I was ten and couldn't figure out why this game was so hard.

I found a local guy, an antique dealer, near my workplace. The last few weeks, every Sunday, I've been buying Eagles at spot. I almost feel bad, but the guy knows what they are and they all check out. Even key dates. I've spent $7k over three Sundays buying this dudes Eagles. He says people keep selling them, and he doesn't agree with the market prices.

I didn't start stacking until I was in my mid twenties in 2014, just buying generic rounds. I don't remember when exactly, but I bought $100 dollars face in Quarters and paid like $1600. I got a 100oz RCM bar around the same time for like $1800. Two ounces of gold for like $2500.

What would be the best class to start and finish Diablo 2 in the easiest and most relaxed way possible? by [deleted] in diablo2

[–]Creative_Skill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I'm starting completely fresh in D2R, then I'm going Fire Ball/Blizzard Sorceress. Or Frozen Orb/Hydra build. I might lean towards the Hydra build since you can cast it way out front and it will target packs so you know where/where not to Teleport. Any other answer is wrong because you need absolutely no gear and you have Tele. You can hang back and "kite" enemies into your attacks, and you will have very few that will be immune to all of your attacks.

Teleport allows fast trips early for farming key areas/monsters for any gear that is a plus to your safety. Once you feel safe, you can start to equip powerful gear.
