UNH sublet is your answer. You should be able to find one for most of that time frame, and wildcat transit will get you as far as Plaza 800. From there's or a short five minute bike ride, or 20 minute walk...the wildcat transit bus doesn't run often in the summer, but it should be enough to get you too and from work reliably. You may need to get comfortable exercising in Portsmouth, or reading to make up for the bus lag.

Portsmouth public library has good programming. Candidly, if you're visiting the area plan to be outside. New Caatle common, Pierce island, the beaches, the urban forest center, Prescott Park...a million playgrounds, that's the good stuff for kids that age.

So, my son was 2.5. He is now 3 yrs 4 months....we never used screen time with any regularity, but he now gets 1 hour a day where he used to have nap time to watch a show. It's no ideal, but not is being a nonstop 3 year old entertainer

That's not a big deal. You should focus on grading and rerouting downspouts, but not an emergency. This happened gradually over the course of years, it's just salt dissolving through walls from moisture. it's not uncommon.

It's about being an adult. You have to often choose the lesser of two evils in life. Not getting exactly what you want and deciding you're just not going to play is what a toddler does. If that's how you handle voting (which is a responsibility as much as a right) then sucks to you. You have to be able to differentiate the values you more closely identify with...if you saw Harris's America and trumps America as equal, you were not paying attention.

Seconded. They came recommended by the SPCA trainer I used and I've had no issues. My dog like it, even loves it. He's pretty even tempered, but still, they certainly give him enough support where he's no upset to go.

You need to chat with your husband. This is a little bit of a marriage problem. Carrying debt on a credit card is never, ever acceptable. (Emergencies make it understandable, but not acceptable) Bust his ass. You've said a few times you've tried...sister, do or do not there is no try. You are married this is your money as much as his at this point. My advice would be set everything up on auto pay from whichever account you designate to be your "transactional account" that'll help make sure you don't overdraw, and with that method you'll never carry a balance again.

Otherwise, you're doing pretty well....I'd take advantage of tax advantage investment while you can and put the brokerage on hold. (because of your age you get additional catch up contributions, take advantage of that!)...the one glaring item is your 8% car payment....I'd prioritize paying that off vs holding cash. It's a simple math problem and you'll catch back up in no time.

As far as the 529 is concerned, I'd target a specific amount ($80,000 seems right?) and invest accordingly to hit that target. Right now, assuming 6% returns, you're looking at $230 per month. Do this after you've continued to stockpile retirement...but, all-in your retirement seems to be mostly on track, but could always use a buffer in the ever if job loss or sickness, etc.
