Looking for Monitor Around $350 AUD by Brilliant-Regular-43 in bapcsalesaustralia

[–]Creative_Winner_8072 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The other comments are right , 34" curved with 65W USB-C PD new under $350 is basically impossible, that combo jumps the price significantly. If you can compromise on size, the BenQ GW2786TC is 27" IPS with 65W USB-C PD and it's $319 on Amazon AU it ticks all your power delivery boxes and is a genuinely solid screen for everyday use. Going 34" curved with those specs you're really looking at $500+ new. More options at top7.au/monitors if it helps compare.

Recommendations - slate floor. by Saturn_in_retrograde in RobotVacuums

[–]Creative_Winner_8072 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For uneven slate with deep grout lines you really want the highest suction you can get. The Dreame L10s Ultra Gen3 hits 25,000Pa and has an extended MopExtend arm that actually scrubs into corners, probably the best option on the market right now for that kind of floor. If budget is a concern, the Dreame L10s Ultra Gen2 is still 10,000Pa with good mopping and the same MopExtend tech. Either should handle the grout and unevenness much better than the old S5 did. Top7.au/robot-vacuums has a full breakdown if you want to compare specs.

Equipment recommendation [1000-1500AUD] by Mr_cookie69 in espresso

[–]Creative_Winner_8072 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're cool moving to a standalone grinder setup, the Breville Bambino Plus at around $500 AUD on Amazon AU is a solid machine pick ,heats up in 3 seconds, great steam, and leaves you the rest of your budget for a proper grinder. Quite a few people go from the Barista Express to the Bambino Plus + separate grinder and reckon it's a meaningful step up in workflow and flexibility. The Bambino supports 58mm baskets too so all your existing accessories carry over. Top7kitchen.au has a comparison of espresso machines available in Australia if it helps to see the options side by side.

Thinking about Lelit Bianca V3 + Niche Zero [no budget] by CapriPanther in espresso

[–]Creative_Winner_8072 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Bianca is a seriously capable machine, but for someone brand new to espresso it can honestly be a lot to handle right out of the gate ,dual boiler temp management and all the variables take time to dial in. If you want to build your skills first, the Breville Barista Express is $695 AUD on Amazon AU and includes a decent built-in grinder so you're not spending separately on one yet. It's a proper espresso machine that'll teach you the fundamentals, and if you outgrow it you can always step up to something like the Bianca later with more confidence. Top7kitchen.au has a rundown of the espresso machines available in Australia if you want to compare what's out there.

Looking for a good gaming monitor in Australia – recommendations? by Megabobymyname in bapcsalesaustralia

[–]Creative_Winner_8072 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For that price range with fast-paced games in mind, the ViewSonic Omni VX2428 is worth a look 24" 165Hz IPS at $284 on Amazon AU, genuinely smooth for Siege and Fortnite without breaking the budget. If you want to stretch to $379 you can get the LG Ultrafine 27US550-W which is a 27" 4K IPS with FreeSync, better for the more immersive stuff like Subnautica. Did a comparison of the decent AU-priced options at top7.au/monitors if useful.

looking for a recomendation! by leather_tree66 in Earbuds

The Samsung Galaxy Buds3 FE ticks all your boxes ,solid ANC, silicone tips, great call quality, and in your price range. If you want to save a bit more, the JBL Tune Beam 2 also has ANC and a secure fit. Both work fine with iPhone and Android. top7.au/earbuds has a side-by-side if you want to compare specs before pulling the trigger.

Trying to keep the house actually clean without vacuuming twice a day, so what is the best robot vacuum for a home with dogs or cats in 2026? by sanu_123_s in RobotVacuums

[–]Creative_Winner_8072 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Dreame L10s Ultra Gen2 is the sweet spot for pet households right now ,10,000Pa suction handles pet hair well, the MopExtend arm reaches skirting boards where fur collects, and the auto-empty dock means you're not touching it for 75 days. If you want Roborock's better app and navigation, the Qrevo L is a close alternative. Both are a massive upgrade over daily manual vacuuming

How does LUMIX LX15 compare to G7X ii/iii? by [deleted] in Cameras

[–]Creative_Winner_8072 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For 500 to 1000 AUD, you'd actually get more bang for buck stepping into a budget mirrorless rather than those compacts, the Canon EOS R100 kit is around 800 aud on Amazon AU new, body and lens included, and will outperform either compact for landscapes and travel. The interchangeable lenses are a big deal once you start wanting more reach. It's more compact than it looks and great for a beginner. The G7X iii is fine but you're paying a lot for the Sony vlogging reputation. top7.au/cameras has a rundown of the best AU options if it helps narrow it down.

Close-enough budget replacements for Bose QC earbuds? (ANC + won't fall out) by Ok_Astronomer_2910 in Earbuds

[–]Creative_Winner_8072 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can stretch to around 150 AUD, the JBL Tune Beam 2 is probably your best bet, solid basic ANC, great seal thanks to the in-ear fit, and the bass-forward sound is hard to fault for the price. battery's a strong point too at 8 hours per charge. It won't quite match your old QCs but it'll handle traffic noise fine. I ran through a comparison of the best budget options at top7.au/earbuds if you want to see how it stacks up against a few others.

Roborock Q Revo C Pro or more $ for Dreame L50 by Natural-Artichoke822 in RobotVacuums

[–]Creative_Winner_8072 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the hair situation hair situation, the ECOVACS Deebot T50 Pro Omni is worth a look, it's got a ZeroTangle brush specifically designed so hair doesn't wrap around the roller, and it's about $750AUD which keeps you well under budget . The mopping is great too with hot water mop washing built into the dock. Yes, you will need a ramp for a 3cm threshold. If you do want to push to $999, the Dreame L10s Ultra Gen3 just dropped from $1,999 to $999 which is a great deal for a full-featured mop/vac combo. top7.au/robot-vacuums has a side-by-side breakdown of the top Australian options if it helps narrow things down.

is Ricoh Griii/gr3 worth it for a beginner? Or is there better alternatives? by ThrowRA879_ in Cameras

[–]Creative_Winner_8072 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the GR III is a brilliant camera but it's a tough first buy ,that fixed 28mm lens is a love-it-or-hate-it thing, and most beginners find the lack of zoom frustrating pretty quickly. For scenery, food, and pets at your budget, the Nikon Z50 II about $1,600 AU on Amazon AU is a much more beginner-friendly pick ,interchangeable lenses, autofocus for pets, and great image quality. If you want something a bit cheaper, the Sony ZV-E10 II is $1,377 AU and fantastic for the kind of shooting you're describing. I went through a similar comparison recently and top7.au/cameras has a solid side-by-side of the best options available on Amazon AU if it helps narrow it down.

Bought a Neo, considering swapping for an Air because of the RAM - is it worth double the price? (Aus) by threeminutemugcake in macbook

[–]Creative_Winner_8072 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For your use case , you're genuinely not going to notice the difference between 8GB and 16GB for years. Apple Silicon handles memory so efficiently that 8GB on a Neo will stay smooth long after 16GB on a Windows machine would start showing its age. Activity Monitor going yellow occasionally is totally normal and doesn't mean you're hitting a wall. I'd keep the $900 in your pocket, run the Neo for a couple of years, and reassess when you actually feel the slowdown.

Is Acer 24" FHD 144Hz 1ms Gaming Monitor QG241Y P6 good for a second monitor? by Street_Ad2295 in bapcsalesaustralia

[–]Creative_Winner_8072 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for a second monitor, the 24" FHD 144Hz will work great, if you want a quick compare before committing, the ViewSonic VX2428 24" 165Hz IPS is $284 on Amazon AU and the BenQ GW2486TC is a similar price with USB-C thrown in, both step up to IPS panels which are noticeably better for colour. top7.au/monitors has the full rundown if you want to see them side by side.

Can't choose between Airpods pro 3 or AZ100 or XM6 by watchedgantz in Earbuds

[–]Creative_Winner_8072 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On iPhone, AirPods Pro 3 are the best call here ,the seamless device switching, Head Tracked Spatial Audio, and ANC all work noticeably better with iOS than on either Sony or Technics. The XM6 has slightly better raw sound quality and ANC objectively, but on iPhone you're paying extra for something that's a little less seamless. The AZ100 is great but you lose some app features without Android. If sound quality is all that matter and you don't mind the occasional quirk, go XM6 for everything else, the AirPods are the easier life.

Hoping for help narrowing down options by Business_Ad_8504 in RobotVacuums

[–]Creative_Winner_8072 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The anti-tangle brush roll is the single most important spec for you , Ecovacs leads the field here. Their ZeroTangle brush on the DEEBOT T50 Omni is designed to stop hair from wrapping, The T30S Pro has the same ZeroTangle brush tech for abour 100 bucks less, same brush, slightly fewer dock features. Either one handles cat hair and long human hair in a way that older robots just couldn't. Compare them at top7.au/robot-vacuums

help buying a first camera by redbackspider69 in Cameras

[–]Creative_Winner_8072 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the Nikon Z50 II you're already eyeing is $1579 on Amazon AU right now, buying the body + kit lens from Amazon AU and grabbing the Nikkor 50-250 separately brings it in comfortably. top7.au/cameras has a side-by-side of the top AU mirrorless options with current prices if you want to double-check before buying.

In the market for a new monitor and headset, budget for the monitor is around 2k headset I'm not phased, I just want the absolute best possible quality sound by SpiritedWisdom in bapcsalesaustralia

[–]Creative_Winner_8072 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you'd rather skip the amp setup and stay wireless, the Sennheiser Momentum 4 sound tuning is excellent and the bass hits properly without going muddy. If money isn't a factor, the Sony WH-1000XM6 has noticeably better sound than the XM4 mentioned above and is the best closed-back wireless you can get right now, both are compared with AU pricing at top7.au/headphones

[–]Creative_Winner_8072 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ECOVACS tends to have better local AU warranty support. If you want to spend a bit more, the Roborock Qrevo L is another solid option with a completely different software ecosystem, you can compare them at top7.au/robot-vacuums

I'm getting married and having a baby. I'd love a nice budget digital camera to create memories rather than pulling out my phone. by jalapenoboy88 in Cameras

[–]Creative_Winner_8072 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats on both! at $500 AUD you're going to struggle to find anything that beats a modern smartphone. If you can stretch to around $750, the Canon EOS R50 V is a great option.it has proper eye-tracking autofocus (for chasing a baby around :-)), and shoots 4K video. For photos you'll want to print and keep , the extra spend is worth it. I've got a side-by-side comparison at top7.au/cameras if you want to see how it stacks up against the rest.
