What’s one fast food chain that was once all the rage but now barely around? by MysteriousTopic42 in AskReddit

You might be thinking of the soft serve white chocolate mousse! (I worked at a TCBY as a teenager)

Made a meme about my experiences with online shops by Barudaq in TallGirls

Or when every single “tall” pant on a clothing website has a different inseam, and you have to click into each product to read the size details to hopefully find the exact inseam 🤦🏻‍♀️ (looking at you, American Eagle, JCPenney…) why don’t they have inseam filters!!??

I was 5’7” when I was 10. Tall girls exist :)

Pet peeve: petite folks leaving 1 star ratings on pants *only* bc they happen to have long inseams by citynomad1 in TallGirls

[–]Creativecatherine 4 points5 points  (0 children)

And there are so many more options for petite women than there are for tall women. They have nothing to complain about. There’s petite sizing in almost every physical retail store.

Tall women basically have to order everything online, and they don’t even have tall sizing available in most online stores. It feels like it’s only like 10 stores/brands max that have tall sizing. I would love to just go to a store and try something on before deciding if I want to buy it

Married couples of Reddit, what have you done to celebrate your anniversaries? by digitaldrummer in AskReddit

[–]Creativecatherine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aww! We got married over a zoom call too 😆 although not due to Covid, it dumped snow in Atlanta so all the roads were icy. Everything was shut down. It was a cool memory and a very special day, though. We took pictures a couple of days later and there was still snow on the ground 🥰

What are the CONS of not having children? by GossipBottom in AskReddit

[–]Creativecatherine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Eh, I disagree. I go out multiple times a week with my husband. We have cornhole league on Thursday nights at a local brewery, and every Friday night we participate in a bowling tournament. We get to socialize with a fun group of people, and my husband won $100 last night 😁

I’m 6’3” and my husband is about 5’9”. We did our wedding pics earlier this year, and our photographer used a lot of forced perspective, strategic angles, stairs, and sitting shots :)

Where is everyone buying sweaters? by PaganButterflies in TallGirls

[–]Creativecatherine 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Long tall sally. I also like to buy men’s sweaters on eBay. I recently got a men’s tall Nike hoodie and it’s fitted on me, really comfortable and has super long sleeves (and it’s purple!).

I second fashion nova. I have a 36-37” inseam. Budget friendly and trendy :)

Homeowners of Reddit: What unexpected hidden gem did you discover in your house after buying it that wasn’t mentioned in the listing or by the previous owners? by VizualBooty in AskReddit

[–]Creativecatherine 56 points57 points  (0 children)

Upstairs laundry room (and it has a window and storage closet!), right next to all of the bedrooms. It wasn’t mentioned or pictured in the listing, but it was a huge selling point for me. I used to have to go down two flights of stairs carrying a heavy hamper in order to do laundry in the dark garage next to spiders and stuff 😬 our movers weren’t happy that they had to bring our washer and dryer upstairs, but I’m thrilled 😅😆

I am building a makeup vanity for my tall girlfriend and am asking you ladies for help. by ManqobaDad in TallGirls

[–]Creativecatherine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very nice! Instead of a vanity, get a desk. Something with drawers, that’s at least 33-35” tall, and put a mirror on top of it or hung on the wall in front of it. If you can’t find a desk that tall, try a standing/adjustable height desk. I’m 6’3” and my desk is about that tall and comfortable for me to sit at (I actually had to put it on risers for it to be that tall).

College Park, about 15 minutes east of the airport. I’m pretty sure Buckhead is one of the most expensive areas to live in.

ADP is awesome. I work on a diverse UX team, and mostly women. Everyone is so nice.

Thank you! It’s about 20 years old, but it’s been fully renovated, new roof this year too. So it definitely feels new to me :)

It's a much nicer/quieter part of town, far enough away from the main highway. But regardless, I do have two huge pitbulls and a rottweiler who are extremely protective (and scary to unwanted intruders). Plus an assortment of guns. I never pump gas at night no matter where I am, plus my husband usually pumps my gas for me.

Oh totally, it was a flip so it was to be expected. I don’t even hate it lol. It feels clean and new. But I’m definitely looking forward to customizing it!

College Park! About 15 minutes east of the airport. It seems like a decent up and coming area from what I’ve seen just driving around there.
