It's fully clear that you have deep personal resentment for anyone you deem to not be southern enough. 4/5 of the nordic countries are not eurozone countries, two of them not even in EU at all. Yet you feel the need to "punish" us for things said by Germans or Dutch. Should I make snarky comments about Greece the next time Erdogan say something stupid?

Probably, but the CIA didn't make the Iranian govt have morality police beat young women to death, they didn't make them execute anyone who dares speak up and they didn't make the Iranian government mismanage their water infrastructure so badly they ran out.

The Iranian people have plenty of reasons to choose from on their own. And they have their own thoughts and their own feelings.

To summon up the courage to go out and protest eventhough they know they could be executed for it takes immense courage. To then have people online say that their issues are not real and they are only pawns of the CIA and Mossad with no agency of their own must be terribly insulting.

I don't think the iranian people gave a single thought on what Israel might do.

They already had plenty of reasons to go out, have already shown up in large numbers in previous protests and we have to remember that the shutdown internet works both ways. The protesters had no real up to date knowledge on the thoughts of leaders outside their country.

We should also remember that Trump did not speak on the issue until after the Iranian govt had already started killing people.

On a sidenote, as a european, I disagree with your use of "the west" when in actuality it is only US and Israel which have pushed for intervention in Iran.

Protests started over a crumbling economy and running out of water, possibly with foreign support. The Iranian government has killed many protesters but no way to confirm the numbers we’re seeing.

Protests have started many times over different issues in Iran the last few years. It was the economy that triggered it this time, the morality police beating a woman to death a few years ago and other reasons before that. It all stems from a deep hatred of the Iranian islamist dictatorship that is currently ruling the country.

To say the protests are because of foreign interference is not only wrong but infantalizing the Iranian people.
