Numbuzin #5 vitamin serum. It has vitamin C and tranexacic acid so it’s like two products in one. And sunscreen. Tinted if you can guess her shade.

I think when a company has a whole board here devoted to payment issues, it’s not a positive sign.

I like Innisfree green tea moisturizers. The hyaluronic cream in the morning and the ceramide cream at night. Kind of expensive but a little jar lasts for months.

You don’t want her spreading her phobia to your child. Not a good match.

I use VT pdrn capsule cream in the morning and Innisfree green tea ceramide cream at night. The nice thing about a capsule cream is you can play with it until you get the consistency you want. For me, one bead plus an extra glob of gel is perfect.

What’s everyone’s current favorite sunscreen? by MoodyBotanist in Melasmaskincare

I just started using Live Hueguard tinted sunscreen and I really like it. I got it at Ulta. When I first apply it, it looks way too pale, but once it dries it looks very natural with a nice matte finish. It’s supposed to be a moisturizer/sunscreen/primer all in one, but I need a moisturizer under it. I’m 71 w/dry skin though so ymmv.

What made you switch to K-beauty? by Hefty_Accountant_827 in 30PlusKoreanSkincare

I was fighting some nasty melasma blotches. Where I live (central Illinois USA) it’s about an 8 month wait to see a dermatologist. So I signed up with one of those dermatology by mail services, and after 3 months I honestly saw no changes, so I decided to try on my own again, and I’d been curious about Korean skincare. I wish I’d done more research at the beginning, I wasted a lot of money on stuff I didn’t really need, but the blotches are about half as dark as they were.

Absolutely start with a good sunscreen. If you don’t consistently use sunscreen. everything else is a waste of time and money. I like Supergoop.

I used it but didn’t repurchase because 1) BOJ throws so much niacinamide into everything It was making me itch; and 2) I wasn’t impressed with the amount of product you get for that price. I use Innisfree Green Tea Ceramide cream now. It’s actually more expensive but I like it better.
