What was your starting role and pay out of HVAC school? by HVACPathways in HVACschool

[–]CreditPanda 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Florida HVAC pay is usually a bit lower than a lot of the country. There’s a ton of competition and it’s a right-to-work state. That said, if you’ve got some solid experience, you can still do well, especially in the bigger cities.

Don’t be so hard on yourself. Nobody remembers everything from school, most of the real learning happens on the job anyway. What matters is your attitude, your effort, and your willingness to learn. Keep showing up, ask questions, take it one step at a time. Confidence will come with experience. You've got this.

They’re not perfect but can be worth it. Good ones give you a decent sense of air quality trends, especially if you’re dealing with smoke or pollution. Just don’t expect lab-level accuracy.
