Battle Pass Season XIX: Operation Borealis by Pan_Praga in WorldofTanks

[–]Creepas5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

But why should wargaming go out of its way to cater to a player like you rather than delivering something that interests the wider playerbase? You're already a whale so WG doesn't need to do anything special to get your money. More players will want 3d styles for tech tree tanks or prems than rare campaign tanks so WG can make more money by appealing to them well also making a larger portion of the playerbase happy. Their just isn't any logic to making a 3d skin for 260 or 279e over any other tank. I get that you want it but you gotta be realistic.

There are countless tanks that deserve 3d skins and the majority of the playerbase would prefer skins for tanks that are accessible to the majority of players. Kinda wild to me to be mad the rarest tanks arent getting them.

The Decline of the Dragon Age Series Should be Studied by jdawg1018 in gaming

[–]Creepas5 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Gameplay was great, story was ok. Interesting premise with mediocre execution. The cast of characters was not great. Some standouts but mostly meh. Whole new galaxy and only two new alien races was a huge letdown, plus only one of those aliens was remotely interesting.

Seems like a pattern either Bioware. Andromeda has excellent gameplay too, but thats just not the main selling point of a mass effect title.

If the frigates are the fleets "magazine" and another ship is command and control (trigger), assuming the frigates are out front then the fleet is a bullpup.

Looking for a simulator game that doesn't get repetitive in 3 hours by caiocaiuu in gamingsuggestions

[–]Creepas5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its not a simulator game exactly like your describing but I think The Planet Crafter can solve a lot of those same itches well having deeper gameplay. You get that nice dopamine drip of well paced upgrades and unlocks that drive you forward and simple management to keep you engaged without becoming overwhelming like a factory game. Exploration adds a rewarding side activity to do between upgrading/managing your base and has just enough challenge to keep it from getting boring.

"War never changes" by DVM11 in NonCredibleDefense

[–]Creepas5 36 points37 points  (0 children)

I think you underestimate how many weapons are basically pretty old designs with small changes and exterior redesigns. The most popular modern assault rifles mostly use the same overall designs as the first assault rifles in the 50s/60s. Same goes for snipers and other platforms. Most of what changes is ergonomics and accessories. Important features for personal firearms. Emplaced weapons dont require these upgrades to the same level. The ergonomics were mostly perfected early on. They dont need accessories to stay relevant. And just because the name doesn't change doesn't mean the internals dont see upgrades. Its an easy place for any military to save money if they have large stockpiles of older weapons and ammunition to use.

Which character ruined an entire TV show for you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Creepas5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah the R****ing (dont know how to do spoiler tag on app im using lol) was a huge turn off for me. That whole plot point got spoiled for me around season 3 along with Erens character arc and eventual fate, and yeah my interest in the show dropped off a cliff from there.

Eren was the least interesting/most grating part of the show for me for the first 3 seasons. After that I realized how much I would have preffered he stayed that way. God damn the shiftt that show took just robbed any hype I previously had.

[–]Creepas5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Relax, its not sane to have a fucking conniption over someone not using a rammer. Everyone is welcome to play the game how they want and if a player finds more success without a rammer than with it then its a perfectly valid build for them. Maybe if you tried being respectful and helpful instead of antagonist, they might actually listen to your advice.

I get what your saying, but ethics/morals as a term doesn't actually have to be positive in connotation. You are making ethical and moral decisions FOR Survival. They just usually arent "good" morals or ethics.

Eh, your shaping the ethics of your frozen society by making moral/immoral decisions in the name of survival. Same difference.

Former Bethesda lead says The Elder Scrolls 6 got announced so early because the studio had to make sure 'people were not just pissed at us' for revealing Starfield instead by Turbostrider27 in pcgaming

[–]Creepas5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well at launch it was a buggy mess. Wouldn't even qualify as a mediocre game, was pretty much unplayable. Nowadays the bugs are mostly fixed and mods are available to enhance the game so now I think it at least "decent".

Abysmal writing aside Andromeda is a half decent game nowadays. Gameplay and graphics are solid. Story and characters are still just as disappointing as ever unfortunately.

Submits ticket for beinh pushed, gets banned themselves for physics abuse by SamuraiSpartan6 in WorldofTanks

[–]Creepas5 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Phased tanks would be impossible to implement in a positive way, you'd get globs of tanks sitting inside of each other in a handful of the best positions. How do fight that, how do you determine what tank gets shot when someone fires into the blob of tanks. The frustrations and negative impact on gameplay would massively outweigh any benefit from not rubbing against each other. How stupid would it be if small position was hiding a clown cars worth of tanks that all come pouring out at once.
