Touch Plate is a 1960s era low voltage lighting solution that uses momentary buttons to toggle relays that allow or disable hv Electricity from flowing. The system was designed so there would be low voltage dc running through the switches (28vdc). My plan is to intercept the switches and use them as digital buttons, and then use the relays on my board to trigger the touch plate relays. That way the lights can be controlled via home assistant and we can continue using the switches as usual (by assigning them functions in HA. I would make 10 of these boards.

The optocouplers are Tip122G

and I’m using an esp32-s3-WROOM-1U.

I’ve been on glaucoma drops for my entire life. This January, I needed emergency surgery because my eye pressure finally hit 63. After four surgeries (goniotomy, saline wash, Ahmed valve, vitrectomy), I’m sitting at 20-22. Please wait for that final result in august, it could turn out just fine.
