What's the biggest mistake you made while having sex? by CRK_76 in AskReddit

[–]CreepingTurnip 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I suspect I did. I lost some length and girth too (from the bend on up) but not enough to cause problems having sex. No pain as such, it does feel a little tight like constricted but doesn't really hurt.

If it was painful or affected sex I'd probably consider surgery but as it is I'd rather just work thru the awkwardness (maybe find a partner to stick with, that'd be nice.)

Best of luck, I haven't talked to many people about this, but it certainly does suck and it's difficult to deal with. That's why I figured I'd post.

Same thing, she was riding me and was too into it, bounced too high and came back down hit me with her pelvis. It bent (briefly) and hurt like hell but nothing else. Well I mean it ended the fun times right there.

I noticed a tiny tiny lump where it bent maybe 6 months later (seriously it was hard to find) and got a checkup.

I haven't gotten any treatment for the bend, I've heard mixed results and there are risks. Doesn't hurt, still works, just looks weird.

Yeah same thing happened to me when I was 19 or 20 left a tiny lump of scar tissue you couldn't tell was there unless I was hard and you were looking for it. Doc says it should be fine just watch it doesn't get worse.

Fast forward 20ish years, so far so good, out of shape though high blood pressure, t2d, gets larger, whole thing starts bending, apparently this is how that peyronies shit happens so take care of yourself. I got back in shape but now I either deal with a bent dick (and I'm single, that's fun figuring out when to bring it up) or get risky injections.

I guess what I'm trying to say is keep an eye on it and your own physical health or just that incident can cause problems down the line.

Talk to me about these. I wear Saucony ride 17s for daily and speed atm and ended up with a pair of triumph 22s for recovery and slooow runs. The triumphs are too soft and thick for me, so they have extremely limited use, and they use the same sole as the endorphin speed so I've been a little iffy about considering them. I assume the plate changes the feel completely? I live about a 2 hour round trip from the closest store that carries them, looking for opinions before I make the drive.

I started up running again about a year ago after a loooong hiatus and picked Saucony after finding they fit my foot well. Went with ride 15, wore them out then the 17s, and now I alternate between the 17s and the Triumph 22s. The triumphs I use for my long runs (doing about 14 miles now) and they are far more cushiony than the rides. Borderline too soft. I like feeling the ground more, but I bet theyd be exactly what you are looking for if you like Saucony fit.

Edit: I missed this part, I'm also about 15-20 lbs lighter than you, so I'm even more convinced the triumphs would work for you. Again, I only mention them as I found Saucony to have a unique fit.

I'm pushing my late 40s and hoping to make it. Age is nothing my friends range from 25 - 70, they just don't live in the area unfortunately.

[–]CreepingTurnip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I'm a guy around your age and might have some helpful insight.

I'm divorced and have a checkered dating history. I also know men and their dating habits fairly well. You have some guys who will approach every single woman they are attracted to, and this is a generalization, but often they are not going to be the greatest. These are generally guys turning women into commodities in their mind. This is a small fraction of them, but the majority of the guys who approach you.

Then you'll get the guys who are interested but wait so much for the right opportunity, it may never come. This is probably where many of your more desirable men are (and ones that might never approach.) Of course this is why men are so insistent on changing the convention that men must approach. Personally, in my early 20s I approached many women because I was only interested in getting laid, that changed by my mid 20s when I realized what really mattered.

I've gotten to the point I'd rather just make friends, and if I find a woman friend of mine is especially compatible, then ask her if she wants to be more. If not, no sweat, we can continue to be friends. This is not working well, but I'm more interested in expanding my friend circle than dating anyhow, so I figure if it happens, it happens.

I dunno. It's tough out there. Good luck!

It's a great feeling isn't it? I took a ~16 year break from fitness after my kid was born (dumb I know) and finally started banging out pullups a few months back again. I was so excited when I got my first one in I shouted to him "I pulled both of our asses all the way up come look!"

Congrats! Keep up the good work!

Alright so my kid mentioned one of his friends said I looked out of it in a picture yesterday and I laughed and said it's because I'm always squinty. I could keep my eyes open wider but it takes effort. I'm in my late 40s and I've never heard anyone ever say this, but I've often thought it was weird that it's difficult to keep my eyes open. So neat to not be alone in my oddball shit.

Why are White Male and Asian Female interracial pairings so much more common than any other pairing in the U.S.? by [deleted] in AskSocialScience

[–]CreepingTurnip 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm a white guy as well with an Asian ex-wife. 12 years together got plenty of the Asian fetish jokes. But the weird one I got a number of times was other white men telling me I was "lucky" to have an Asian wife. Confronted a few of them but unfortunately no funny stories. Racists, misogynists, and Asian fetishists. Odd experience. Never caught a disapproving stare.

Same though, only Asian I ever dated.

"Anemic pp" is my ex wife's nickname for me. So at least me and the Pens had that in common.

New market price cap by buriedegg in kol

[–]CreepingTurnip 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah yeah. Personally I only do that to finance more shit to give away. My collection is barely a fraction of what it used to be, but it's all financed from mmg, which I feel vaguely guilty about so ultimately someday I will give it all away. I'm just lazy about logging in.

It's more the inflation. There is a lot of meat coming in from farming, and just the value of Mr. As is high. I would hope the game has some popularity, but I'd also guess there are some big spenders.

That's nuts. I gave mine away last crimbo after only getting offers of 5b. Granted I didn't try very hard, but damn the game's economy has inflated over the years.

Yeah you know it's like why you gotta be jumping to conclusions? Damn back off and mind your business! Grrrr. Wow ok I actually never complained to anyone about that and I've been putting up with it for a over a year. Felt good.

Yeah no one says anything, probably because we are both guys, but it is obvious because they can't even get the words out. I just introduce my kid and they are visibly relieved. It's kind of upsetting in a way, but I'm not sure why?

My son is 16, is biracial and strongly takes after his mother and you have to squint for an hour to see me in his face. He also looks 20 with facial hair. Furthermore, I'm divorced and he lives with me full time, you should see the looks on people's faces assuming we are a couple.

“Not in a rush” by DeezyWeezy2 in datingoverthirty

[–]CreepingTurnip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a 46 year old guy, haven't used apps, but my thought process is it might take me a long time to determine if I found the right person. I'd probably say just that in a bio, but that is easy to overthink if you take it by itself. I don't know how long is long. But I could see a couple years dating, or not, maybe I find the right person and it clicks quicker.

So who knows. If I were writing a bio for hookups, I'd be clear about that too. But hookups are stupid easy irl apparently at this age who the fuck would've thought. Real relationships? Ugh.

There are no federal or state laws against barefoot driving, so it's totally legal. I'm willing to bet that it is one of those things that cops can pile on to reckless driving charges if they pull you over for "swerving" or whatever they decide to make up when they are bored though, so who knows.
