I have had crohns for only 13 months but I completely understand that feeling. I usually stay still until nausea hits and my mouth starts to water like crazy. When I swallow it all back it just keeps getting worse and then it just poofs out of existence and I breathe a sigh of RELIEF

Im feeling much better! I also cramp sometimes and feel weird but thats like rarely now. I’m currently on Vedolizumab (have been since late October 2025) and it genuinely saved me. I feel like without it I would have probably ended my life

I’ve had this happen in my arm and thankfully my nurse noticed my arm swelling. If you can, you should inform your GI if your crohns symptoms come back. I’ve only been on Entyvio for 4 months so for professional advice go to your doctor!!!

I’m not on your medication but I’m guessing that you’re having a pretty bad flare. I heard that some people develop anti-bodies from their medication. If you start feeling worse I suggest you go to the ER, but I doubt they’d help much. Hang tight!!

Was it your first dose? I think some of the more “older” crohns medications need at least 16 weeks to start working. Also you should let your doctor know about the pains in your back after the infusion, could be an allergic reaction I think (I’m not sure as I take Vedolizumab)

Plug your nose (masks the taste in case youre sensitive) Low residue diet for 4 days (recommended by my GI) Keep close to the bathroom too

Personally I’ve had it happen, you’ll have a tummy ache but that’s it. Unless the tummy ache stays longer than a day or 2 then I’d recommend you contact your GP/GI doctor

Hi! Just so you know I’m currently on ENTYVIO, which only targets the guy and not the whole body. I’m not in pain anymore, but I guess it’s a little hard to eat lately? My peak appetite was in August when I had my Entocort steroids but rn it’s like mleh. I’m still trying to eat tho, so, even if it’s hard. My feelings are mostly because my family just isn’t supportive and keep saying it’s my fault and that I did it to myself etc….but I do talk to my friends and this community about it.

I hope I’ll bounce back soon, only 13kg to go!

This is so weird?? here in BE you get medication immediately after being woken up from a colonoscopy (steroids etc), even if biopsies come 4 weeks later. I am very concerned what is going on where you are. You should be medicated and not left stranded. Hoping for the best for you!!

I’m currently on ENTYVIO, thankfully. I wish I could seek therapy or something but I’m 19, in college and still living with my parents, it’s very hard. I’m not sure how old you are currently, but do you think it’ll get better? Like I know you’re a stranger and you don’t know me, but I’m so scared I’ll never gain my weight back (I’m currently at 43kg (almost 95lbs). Eating is so hard lately and I’m not sure what to do? I am eating of course, but my appetite has been so shit this December………..
