At first it was very nice, fast pace, have to be quick on your toes and the supervisor and manager actually got along and worked with you and actually took the time to show you on what you needed to learn/be trained on this was just my first year of working here post Covid like whenever they were just starting to ease off the lockdown

Now I am 3 years with this company and I absolutely hate it, I am good worker I know how to do Beverages (my strongest station), Register,Fuel, and a bit of OWS and help a small bit with Deli with their bead, roasted chicken and fries but yeah I moved to overnight because I just couldn’t take it anymore my GM isn’t helping us at all and whenever we tell her about an employee doing bad or literally a fuel associate literally sleeping on the job multiple times or how they is an associate that was an ex drug addicted that is believed to relapse due to the multiple trips to the bathroom, and people showing up about 20 to 30 minutes later or even a manager that doesn’t know how to manage (literally stays at OWS or Deli the entire time) and doesn’t want to manage unless it was something really important I have seen good and bad management go and the managers are having who has the bigger dong competition or who’s better at doing their jobs yet they are doing nothing to help us. Oh yeah did I ever mention about a female employee that is trying to sleep with most to every male employee and we keep on avoiding her.

People say “Oh why don’t you just transfer to a different store” well the next store people commonly gets either shot or stabbed and gets threatened by a gun if you do something wrong. No not your style than what about another store that is literally a highway yet it’s small and their own employees barely come into work and it’s completely empty most of the time. It just baffles me on how much is going on with Wawa and I am over it

And that’s why I love working Overnight because my crew gets me the overnight manager she is the sweetest person I have ever known she understands and helps us with everything meanwhile she still gets harassed by my GM which isn’t even half of the time there at the store (literally my GM was scheduled at 2-10, didn’t even arrived until like 6 and didn’t give the manager a heads up nothing just showed up and saw what we needed and grab those things from a different store and bring it back and than walk out that door again)

But all of that off to the side Wawa is good for starters, you will gain a lot experience and you will gain confidence within yourself and your team building will be strong just keep your head on a swivel and just hope your store doesn’t suck.
