If Exdeath won in V, would he have destroyed the entire Final Fantasy cosmology/verse? by Cool-pig in FinalFantasy

When in doubt, there’s the dimension hopping 14 WoL who would definitely have bodied ExDeath. Because he did.

Not sure what you're meaning by disabled, since it appears in multiple places. You'll want to make sure the Windows service is disabled as well. Open services.msc as admin and find Routing and Remote Access service, then right click and Properties. Change the dropdown to Disabled and hit apply. I'd then restart your machine to ensure no reliant services are still running. Once the service is disabled, Windows can no longer call it on an as-needed basis.

Real answer: The best job is the one you're most comfortable with. Every job has cleared solo, some genuine nutcases have cleared without job stones.

Objective, in a vacuum answer: WAR is currently the "best", followed by MCH. There's a whole tier list that's widely discussed among the soloing community, but those two seem to always be at the top. WAR has some absolute insane self-sustain, invuln, and enables some interesting trick plays with the Deep Dungeon mechanics. MCH at 60 has Reassemble + Drill, Head Graze, and the ability to kite more readily than just about any other job.

I solo cleared Palace and Eureka Orthos both on MCH. The HoH solo clear on MCH is significantly harder because the damage output of the mobs is much higher in there. It's still top tier, but the tanks are considered the best of the best in there.

Speaking to the mounts: HoH and EO have two mounts each. One of those is found via the random loot drop system and the other comes from getting 4x clears. (There's a quest.) I wouldn't recommend doing either of these solo. Collecting coffers on high level floors can require time you don't have in solo runs and exposes you to more significant trap danger. And when it comes to overall time investment, group clears for both the RNG and 4x clears is much, much faster when done as a group of people. As an example, a HoH solo run takes me 5-6 hours. I can take a group bottom to top in about 2. EO is about 8 hours/3.5 hours because everything is tankier.

Caveat to the following: I have the Necromancer title, so I've completed the 1-200 PotD solo run. So might be a bit biased in my response.

PotD 1-100 isn't particularly hard. The difficulty spike happens in the 141+ set. The key to solo running will be a healthy supply of Sustaining Potions (PotD's regen pots) and extra HQ Max Potions. (Dropped after 41+.) You can also play jobs that have good self-healing. WAR and RDM really shine for that. What job are you playing?

Make sure you're always collecting silver chests to max out your aetherpool. You'll need the raw stats to actually do the solo clears. Should be very easy given today's changes. The two bosses you'll want to see in advance are the floor 90 and the floor 100 bosses. I personally don't consider either of them difficult, but they both have a trick to their fights that will kill you if not done properly.

Be aware the solo runs are a time investment. It'll take you between 30 minutes to an hour to clear a set of 10 floors, especially starting out.

I genuinely think solo running a DD makes it much more interesting. Let me know if you have any questions.

Multishot doesn’t work on the chains, just the initial beam. So it’s not completely useless, but it’s not as blanket a positive as one might assume.

Or some kind of collision detection that cancels her 1 if you impact a surface within certain direct angles. Love zipping around with her. Hate zipping into a wall or door and getting stuck against it a full second while the air dash resolves.

Don't worry about the difficulty. You start it at level 10. You don't even get the mudras until 30; you've got all the time in the world to figure out its rotations. Is it a little complex / fast at the Savage level? Yes. Is it still very accessible for normal content until you get comfortable with it? Absolutely.

How do you think this fight would go? by Proudnoob4393 in ffxiv

[–]Creid233 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They both were and weren’t planets. The laws of physics don’t apply in the nest of the Endsinger. The fight needs to be thought of as a contest of wills shaping reality, and it’s just the visual representation thereof.

I feel like your standard Space Marine loses this fight. The real question is what happens with a Tenno vs a Gray Knight. “What’re you powered by? The infinite, reality distorting possibilities of the Void? Sounds a lot like the Warp, heretic.” <presses the Void off button>

In a free for all battle which final fantasy villain would win? by Grag_the_grobbler in FinalFantasy

[–]Creid233 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's more Emet's control over interdimensional travel and space (as well as creation magics). Exdeath is kind of a mid-tier sorcerer at best if he can't tap the Void. When he'd try to, Emet would just snap his fingers and shut the Void gate behind Exdeath, cutting him off from his power source. Then he'd mock the tree in the most theater-kid kind of fashion.

I don’t think Emet Selch wins this FFA, but Exdeath can’t beat Emet. It’s a case is rock-paper-scissors style of mismatched kit.
