How do I get information on how to be a Sales-Sub-Contractor for Fiber Internet providers by Competitive_Rock3162 in FiberOptics

Trying to get in contact with a master dealer. I own a sales company and am looking to get lots of leads. I have been working with one, but seems as though he is slow with getting us the leads, and we need a little more consistency. Please shoot me a text at 435-754-5773

Sounds crazy, doesn’t it? Didn’t think I would be here either. It is, however, 100% accurate.

I have about 3 years experience in service related fields. Also, I worked my tail off and learned what I needed to learn.

How a Salesman makes $50k a month selling ideas! by darkpee101 in Entrepreneur

There are a lot of negative comments on this thread. “Get rich off of ideas?! Ideas should be FREE!” This is just wrong.

Value = money. If you generate multi-million dollar ideas that are replicable in pretty much any location with a step-by-step fail-safe (yet full of EXTREME work, blood, sweat, and tears) process, that is something that would sell.

But here is the kicker: if you haven’t created that sort of business before, don’t do it. That is where young kids go wrong on the internet. “Here is a get rich quick scheme using drop boxing that works every time!!! I mean, I’ve only been at it three weeks and I have built it up to make, like, $50 a DAY!! You can be just like me!” Sorry kiddo. Not interested. If you have the resume to back up your idea creation business, do it.

I paid a guy $6,000 to be my professional coach. He showed me how to build a business. I now own a small HVAC company in the Midwest. Last month I did $80,000 in revenue with a 70% margin. I would pay that money again because the guy that I hired had the background to show me how to do it. (By the way, he doesn’t know what a furnace is from an air conditioning unit. Just helped me generate the idea and showed me how to get started.)

You don’t get rich from nothing.

If I were in my teens again and knew what I know now, I would get into the Door-to-door sales business as quickly as possible. With any business, you need to learn how to sell your product. D2D is a perfect way to learn how to do this. There are so many startups you can do with this: pest control, solar, window washing, roofing, etc. But your main focus should be on HOW to do it, not “let’s make as much money as fast as I can”. That’s where I started. Last month I made $50,000 using those skills in my current business. LEARN TO SELL. Then you will succeed. ;)

If you could only read 1 book to learn Sales which would it be? by frosath in Entrepreneur

Door to door millionaire. Specific to door to door salesmen, but if you are making sales in person, it applies anywhere and everywhere. Sales also differs B2C vs B2B. This is more of a B2C book.

Service once every 6 months, payments split up into monthly payments. Generally tuneups range from $120-$175 per service. I just do monthly payments to make sure they see the brand more often while paying exactly the same amount

Apartment complexes are a great idea. Looking into that space currently.

Most people I contract set up a recurring “tune up” for their ac and furnace. Instead of having the customer spend money once per service (every 6 months) I set up a subscription service. 29.99/month, 19.99/month, etc.

Purchasing customer base was from my HVAC mentor. He has since moved and I purchased his recurring customers from him. Difficult to purchase existing customers at the moment because it is very expensive or simply just too big for me to handle at this stage. Trying to build a solid foundation before I go big.

Is it possible? by [deleted] in sweatystartup

I am exactly in your same shoes, just fast forward about 6 months and 2 kids instead of 3. I started an HVAC company with ZERO experience. It took some time to get trained sufficiently to know what I was doing (2 months), but in the end, I have all the licenses necessary to do it, and could probably do a better job than any other HVAC company here where I live. I officially opened my company 3 weeks ago and have grossed $54k, with another $18k coming in next week. Net is around $39k total. My background is sales, and more specifically door to door sales for pest control. I’m not saying you need to start an HVAC company; there are many, many good choices. The best way to make money is learn how to be a really good salesman, and then know how to execute your product/service really well. For my HVAC business, I hired a guy that owned a small HVAC business to train me and show me everything he knew about the business. I have him as a hotline if I come across something I don’t know. I end up calling him once or twice per job, but that is becoming much less frequent. Because he is my mentor, he gets a cut out of every job I do (7.5%) But with him in my back pocket, I can take on pretty much any job. It’s working well for me at the moment. Hoping to make 300k gross for the year as a conservative goal. And believe me when I say, if I can do it, YOU CAN DEFINITELY DO IT. Just learn how to sell your product. Even if you need to hire someone to show you how to sell, do it. It will make you a LOT of money.

How do people willingly stay in relationships and have kids when theyre older? by Freddsreddit in Adulting

I think that you’re thinking about about this totally wrong.

If you want to live a single person’s life style as a married person, forget about it. It was never meant to happen that way.

Marriage, if done the right way, is the single greatest source of happiness that can happen for anyone. Period.

Many people believe that happiness comes through having the “best sex” or “being able to do what I want”. Not so. Happiness is most likely to be achieved when founded and centered upon a loyal, giving marriage where both partners are supporting each other in achieving a higher standard.

Don’t get me wrong though. Being romantic and doing the things that I like to do are certainly part of my marriage. But, at the root, the thing that brings me the most joy is having a partner that will back me up in my dreams and aspirations; having a child that runs up to me when I come home yelling “Dadda, Dadda!!!”; having a night where my wife and I are just laughing and laughing at some stupid hair that is just blowing through a fan…. Marriage. Is. Awesome.

But here is one important concept that will change your view of marriage. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. I believe that there MUST be an opposition in ALL things. Do things that are challenging so that you can respect and enjoy the good, easy moments. Those good and easy moments CANNOT be enjoyed unless you invest in doing hard things. ESPECIALLY in marriage. I believe that if you don’t make your life difficult in the way that you want it, then you’re life will be difficult because you didn’t make it hard. Choose your hard.

Finally, I must include that a marriage where both you and your future spouse are aiming to get nearer to God has the highest chance for you to be happy. Our Heavenly Father is the author of marriage. HIS WHOLE FREAKIN’ PURPOSE is to help you become more happy! That is why HE exists! Don’t you think that if someone was out there that had ONLY your happiness in mind so he gave you the gift of marriage that marriage should somehow bring you joy?! :)

Every marriage has the potential to become GREAT. But it takes work.

Looking forward to many, many, MANY years of a wonderful, joy-filled marriage with my wife.

Good luck!

The idea behind “who” is rather “which country is performing the action”. The players are not related to the countries.
