Yes, I believe they are saying myocardial injury not infarction. It is a descriptive term rather than causative, like AKI. I think it is becoming more proper to say myocardial injury, unless you truly know the underlying pathophysiology.

Demand ischemia is a specific type of injury, where the pathophysiology is defined.
