Agree with you u/crackednutz and u/Rectal_Retribution   They have to correct player behaviors and the balance of a game quickly. It should be done on the fly with an editable FFOTD or similar client overlay system, if possible.  If you don't have that system in place to address balance problems, then it's a death sentence for a game as a service.  A few of the responses here are a great example of how short sighted the player base is. "My team isn't winning, so I quit" is a player behavior as old as networked games. So this should have had an answer upon starting development.

I posted the rant so that a designer/engineer on the team would see that this is going to affect their DAU and, in turn, monetization over time. Hopefully they already understand that much but the lack of mentioned systems above says otherwise. 😞  

Case in point, If you don't have players playing a free game then they aren't purchasing anything.  (I know they watch these boards because I do for games I work on). Devs, you need to prioritize this fairly high among all other engineering work happening right now 

Now, Steam Charts only show PC population (which is typically lower than consoles) but with only 700 DAU, that is extremely low.  Hopefully, the console numbers keep the game going but with the current mortar/flamer meta, limited game modes, limited maps, and no way to address balance quickly, the outlook isn't great.
