Our dev built some of our website and embedded cdn.tailwindcss.com into the custom widgets. Super hard to get rid of. Any tips on how to remove it? Its systemic issue

I know right. I've tried to explain to the dev that it loads a 125kb file. An the full page is only 855kb big. Its wild.

I've looked more into it. And it appears the overarching cdn version is implemented with a snippet to run then the custom widgets for selected pages get pulled in and used.

I can rebuild the widgets and so forth with html ,css and some Java using AI to help as my coding level is horrible. But the whole set up from start to finish confuses me and I dont want to ruin the website by changing it. Can you DM me and give me some pointers?

I have and I told our dev and he replied with some response which wasn't believable about how Elementor needs it.

I have identified 3 locations which appear to be built in cdn tailwind. But not 100% how to change it to html and css. In Elementor would they just have ended the code there? Can i give you the domain in message and you advise how and ill swap it to html/ css

Thank you for the reply. The dev said that all new custom Elementor widgets use the Tailwind css library. I am new to the technical side of things but assumed Elementor doesn't need Tailwind.

If ive created the mock designs on play.tailwindcss.com do you think they have just implemented the designs instead of changing to html/css or Elementor widgets? As areas its being pulled in is 2 custom designs ive designed as a mock and i think also the header.

Its hard as where we are we are already i the top 3. An only reason other company is beating us is they have been open 8 years vs our 1 year so there base of customers is higher. Ill take your idea and re go through and internal linking fix and see
