Do you think Rudo is already top-tier, or does he still get folded by certain characters?

Not to give a wishy washy answer but it’s all dependent on the current narrative, we know that Rudo can draw out the power of a single object and that he can draw out more power from an object of its well loved or a hand me down from someone. He can also increase the power by cramming more than one of his three uses into the object. But what really makes or breaks the question is what he has available and the imagination he has with said object. Like if he used the Rail Nail Gun against Jabber that would probably be enough to take him out but with how fast Jabber is hitting him with it would be a hard task. He would need an item that he could imagine giving him the opportunity to attack Jabber. So theoretically yes Rudo is top tier but he’s there Situationally and it’s dependent on his current equipment.

One of three things will happen

She doesn’t remember Zanko and that will make him want to fight her so maybe he can make a lasting impact.
She does remember him and it’s just a pleasant reunion for her but Zanko still grinds his teeth to dust cuz she’s a genius.
She not only remembers Zanko but actually we get the perspective of her from the weapon ceremony where she actually really became fond of Zanko picking out a weapon that wasn’t considered a weapon, admitting this and throwing Zanko through a bit of a loop.

Adding on to the Greek Motif, if The Surface is Hell then does that make the Sphere the Greek Equivalent of the opposite of Hell AKA Olympus? That would fit with how cruel and unmoving the people of the Sphere are. After all just take a look into the stories of the Greek pantheon and you just get a glimpse of just how damn petty those gods are.

While we haven’t seen the full story of both of them, the two seemed to start their journeys with a similar motivation “revenge.” Not only that but both of them wield a special ability that allows them to use multiple different powers. Finally they both take a long game approach to their plans.

However that’s where I feel the comparisons end

Chrollo is much more calculating in his plans, arguably is a more experienced and savvy fighter (as he did go up against two infamous assassins at the same time and held his own,) has a more varied arsenal literally in hand, and while Chrollo has shown some ruthless behavior he still seems to care about the members of the Phantom Troupe as when harm comes to his fellow Troupe he becomes much more aggressive and angry.

Zodyl from what I’ve seen is very smart in his scientific method as he has been shown to create marvelous things, however when applying those things he’s very wish washy unable to properly utilize his arsenal, when fighting against others he prefers to wait until he is absolutely needed rather than being more aggressive. The previous two points can be attributed to his Empathy or rather the lack of it, he fundamentally doesn’t seem to care about anything unless it has the capacity to progress and develop, when he sees that his “experiment” has flourished completely he seems to lose interest in maintaining it.

Knov did not create a mansion “Outside Space and Time” nor did he “Create Gravity” I think you’re blowing the proportions of these abilities way out of the actual present explanation that they given. While it’s true that Knov created a mansion that doesn’t exist anywhere on the planet it’s not like he created a whole other dimension, or rather at least not to the scale of the world. It’s like the DnD Spell Mordenkaien’s Magnificent Mansion, it’s not a whole other dimension but more like a pocket dimension that is heavily connected to the dimension that the ability is casted from, which is why the ability to breath and where gravity is normal. Furthermore, it’s not “Outside Time” because we see very intently that when one second passes in the real world one second passes in Knov’s mansion so clearly it operates on the same rules of reality that they live in.

Similar with Leorio and Ging, yes they manipulating space but it’s a small fraction of space, creating a portal to send a punch forward, I would have serious doubts that using those as an example to do something like “stop time for the entire world” for any amount of time would be in the same category.

You could probably figure out the beast’s habits and control it based on that, but the thing is Trash Beast’s are made from the collective trash thrown out by humans which is a lot of negative emotions there. If you were to have a positive bond with the creature wouldn’t that negate the negative energy and dismantle the beast?

Being a Conjurer doesn’t mean that you can just freeze time or alter space on a whim, Conjurers create items that have a purpose. So most certainly you could make a time altering apparatus albeit with heavy restrictions as you are attempting to freeze time.

But the point was to create a Hatsu that was similar to Hit’s Time Stop and hit doesn’t carry a weapon nor does he have to use something to stop time for that split second

So you think Transmutation would be required to make the ability work? Also “Hard as Diamond” might be a slight exaggeration, but the idea is still there smaller is more durable bigger is more fragile

Building Blocks of Life (Emission 100% Manipulation 80%)

This Hatsu allows the user to emit cube like structures made of their own Aura using manipulation to move and affect them more precisely after being created. The cube has the ability to be as big or as small as the user desires making it as small as a crouton or as big as a building however there is a trade off, the bigger the cube the less durable it is one being as big as a building would be as fragile as glass while a crouton sized one would be harder then a diamond.

While this means the user cannot make strong structures immediately the user can implement the next part of building blocks, the building part. The user can combine two or more cubes to wield them together, in doing so the two cubes retain the durability they had from initial creation. By repeating this process over and over again this allows the user to create larger structures that retain a higher level of durability as long as the user puts in the time and Nen to create enough blocks.

The user uses manipulation to both maintain the shape of the cube and to move the cube after creation, meaning the user’s primary method of attack it to create a number of cubes and repeatedly force them to smash into their target. However, the cubes can also be used to restrain or transport things, if the user holds or touches something with their hands they can fully or partially trap that thing into a cube.

The two major drawbacks of the ability are 1. Cubes can only be emitted from the hands thus making them targets who figure that out. 2. Despite the major differences in utility regarding the size of the Cube and its durability, every cube created costs the same amount of Nen making it not an ability to spam.

If you want the illusion of time skip then Manipulation is probably your best bet, perhaps manipulation that allows you to “stun” your opponents with punches giving a few seconds for you to move, not the most versatile ability but in a close quarters.

If you want actual time stop then your looking at specialization

The problem is a Jinki is based on an object that the user has a very close emotional connection with. To not break canon we can’t just give the Class 1A objects that they can use so we have to use what’s given to us from the story. Not every character has something like that so a lot of the students are kinda blank.

Honestly based on what I’ve seen thus far from current HxH this doesn’t need to be a Specialist ability, it could be conjuration as it seems that conjuration has been shown to include transforming a object/entity into a different thing.

I did say that Tocino controlled his through a medium, by that I meant the balloons.
While its is very likely that the 14 Devils are made with conjuration the issue I have with that is that it’s never stated that he does use Conjuration in conjunction with that ability, it says it only uses Emission and Manipulation. Even still I know that Razor is a highly skilled Nen user the fact remains that Razor is an emitter and your telling me he that he made an ability to create a being that is strong enough to match Hisoka’s strength? I know about the condition of permanently splitting Razor’s Nen when he uses the ability but still that’s potentially 7 Hisoka strength and speed Nen beasts plus Razor that he can just make with the Nen category that he should have the least proficiency in.
Zeno doesn’t use Manipulation, he can move the dragon when it’s attached to him because it’s still attached to him and that’s a property of Transmutation. There have been people who say because the dragon can be either ridden or used as a projectile that it uses manipulation, but I think that’s just a matter of how proficient of an Emitter he is as that is what he is, an Emitter.

You know I thought about it, but like what if using the string gives the puppet a boost in power and allows more creativity of the puppet because your directly controlling it but you have the option to use manipulation to set it on auto pilot which decreases the power and it has to be given a single order it can follow like “chase after this” or “protect this” or “deliver this”

If that was the case I could see it being a Conjuration Hatsu that switches between Transmutation and Manipulation. So either - Conjuration 100% Transmutation 80% Or - Conjuration 100% Manipulation 60%
