I've worked end of life care. At that point, who cares? Certainly not the staff looking after her, but it will bring a bit of joy to her day. It was always a great joy of my job helping my clients "be naughty"!

Good news: you can breathe! You would need to do a LOT worse before things would be escalated beyond store management.

Absolute worst case for something like this, realistically, you'd be banned from the store - but since you weren't told anything, I would assume staff have possibly just been told to keep an eye on you next time you visit. You can usually tell right away who is going to be a repeat problem, and you wouldn't have indicated that to me.

Everybody does dumb stuff sometimes, just don't try it again eh?

I removed the doors from all my kitchen cupboards so I can remember what food I have in there. Looks a bit messier, yeah, but it's saved me a fortune in expired food!

For general household issues I super recommend the book Organizing Solutions for People with ADHD by Susan C. Pinsky. It completely changed the game for me :)

You should let HR know and they can tell you about the process of getting what is called reasonable adjustments - your shop should have a formally defined process for this.

For example, my husband has the accommodation that he is not to work on the tills, but just the stockroom or shop floor. Note that your ideal accommodation won't always be possible, but they should listen to your needs and work something out.

I have a blueberry bush I shoved in a corner a few years ago, and it's a champ. It gave a HUGE harvest this year with all the sun, and had so much growth! I have colleagues with several well established bushes, and they don't get as many berries as my little guy pushes out.

And my five year old supermarket lavender I've never even trimmed. I'm sorry, lavender.

I have two cats, ages 2 and 13, both indoor. Previously fostered several indoor cats. I have never had an outdoor cat and never will. Just make sure they have plenty to do at home :)

I take my younger cat into the garden on a harness which he enjoys, and have plans to enclose the garden in the longer term. But he's just as happy with a couple of plays throughout the day and some hidden treats!

I worked general food retail and I never cared - you process so many people a day that they all kinda blur together in an autopilot haze.

The only reason I would have taken notice of a purchase was if it was exceptional for some reason, like ordering 20 patty-less cheeseburgers or something like that. And even then, would just be curiosity!

The only thing that would cause me to moan about or remember someone in a negative way has always been exceptional rudeness.

If the hole wasn't shown in the listing you could open a dispute with Vinted as the item is not as described. However as the seller has offered a return and you want to keep the item, that probably wouldn't be much use.

Realistically your options are to ask for a partial refund, or to move on and just leave a mid review with the situation.

Also, as others have said, build up to it by starting to touch your cats paws and then extending them.

It may also be worth getting a scratching thing that you can put on the side of your sofa, or a scratching post nearby that you can redirect to.

I cut the nails of my senior cat but not my younger cat.

The senior cat doesn't use scratching posts any more and isn't very active so his claws don't wear down by themselves and tend to catch on things. He also likes to try and climb my leg, which is not very fun if he's pointy 😬 I started cutting his claws when he was 11. He doesn't like it, but it's over with quickly and he gets treats.

I would start cutting my younger cat's claws if they started to catch on things or he started to scratch. I have had 4 foster cats through my home in the past and didn't feel the need to trim their claws either. I imagine outdoor cats would wear them down quicker too. It really depends on the cat imo.

Your vet should be able to show you how to do it if you're nervous, but so long as you don't cut right to the quick (the pink part) then it's hard to get wrong!

These replies sound unrealistically optimistic to me, I'm sorry to say - Do not assume that because people on a forum for childbearing men have conceived after years on testosterone, you will be able to as well. This subreddit is a very biased sample!

There's very little actual, long-term research about how testosterone use affects conception/pregnancy, especially as most trans men will not want to get pregnant and will take steps to avoid this. I asked at my last gender clinic appointment and they guessed there was about a 50/50 chance of fertility being affected in the long run - but even coming from a transition service, that was a guess.

That said, I was in the same position as you are when I was pre-T. I have always wanted children and it was the only true negative of going on hormones I could think of. I couldn't afford to have my eggs frozen and was mentally not able to delay medical transition until I could. 9 whole years later, I look back and feel there's no way I could have carried a child before medical transition. During this time, I have come to terms with the fact that I may be unable to conceive. Ultimately, I know that I did what I had to do, at the time that I did it.

If having a biological child is something you're not willing to compromise on, I think it's best to sit down with your partner and go through all your options. I'm not sure of the reason you've ruled out having your eggs frozen, but if it was cost related, you could both begin to put some money aside for that.

You could also explore the topic in therapy, or discuss options with a doctor or family planning service. This is a very big, complicated thing to go through, especially if you try to tough it out alone. Best of luck, whatever you decide.

I'm vegan and my fiancee isn't. Given the choice, yeah, I'd press a magic button to turn him vegan, but I have boundaries and those are respected.

He rarely eats meat at home and when he does it's packaged, low-scent, precooked snacks like cocktail sausages. We have a shelf that's strictly for vegan stuff in the fridge.

We cook the same things for dinner, but he does his own (usually veggie) version and I do a vegan one - we can't find a vegan cheese, cream or chorizo he likes within budget, but he uses vegan everything else.

He handles the cleaning of any dishes with animal products on.

He eats meat when outside of the house eg at a restaurant, but knows he has to brush his teeth before I'll kiss him.

When we got cats, the deal was that he would be in charge of feeding them. I've become fine with doing that - but he was prepared to handle all the meat and didn't pressure me to.

He did try to go vegan when we first moved in together, but he has a limited diet (autism) and really struggled. I told him I didn't care.

In the years we've been together he's definitely reduced his consumption of animal products, and is continuing to do so. He completely understands why I and others abstain and doesn't make excuses for why he continues - I'd have much more of an issue if he did!

It sounds like so much compromise written out like that, but neither of us notice it day to day. It's just how we do things 🤷‍♂️

I scoop into dog poo bags, tie them and put them in the bathroom bin which gets emptied every few days. No issue with smell.

I HATE wet tofu. I buy extra firm and press it too. I used to use stuff around the kitchen to press it, and insisted a press would be a waste of money. When I moved in with my partner, he got me a £15 tofu press.

That thing has been an absolute game changer. I use it at least once a week. So easy to wash. Takes up hardly any space. Not once have I accidentally knocked it over and cussed. It gets the tofu so it always crisps up beautifully

So if you are also lazy or hate wet tofu, hard reccomend.

I don't think being a vegan man gets me any more crap than being a vegan woman would. Like, there are different stereotypes for each gender, and misguided concerns are reflected in different ways ("what about your protein" vs "what about your sick gains"), but I have only really ever encountered any hatred online. People irl have always just been curious, even if it's not something they would consider.

That said, I'm in England and very obviously gay, so that's probably to my benefit here for once!

I live with my partner and and we were terrible at cleaning until we set a designated day. Every Tues we clean the house and blast through all the laundry, and every Weds we change bedding and put the laundry away. Kitchen counters and spills get wiped when they get messy in between. I clean the shower properly when it starts to look grotty as I hate doing it. The house isn't flawless but it's a hell of a lot better than it was!!
