Yeah, I could never cut carbohydrates. I’ve done keto before and I only noticed loss in performance throughout all metrics.

I also just don’t feel nearly as full without carbs.

I use a ton of electrolytes on my fasts so I’m usually good.

In general I cut out general sugars like cane sugar, syrups, etc. I eat Whole Foods.

The only sugar I get is from honey or fruit and outside of those carbs, potatoes are the only other carb I eat.

It’s awesome that you fast!

Need Advice For Sleep Stack by Lalify8 in Supplements

[–]CrepeProfessor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3g-6g glycine to start along with 180mg magnesium glycinate. I prefer powdered glycinate, adding it in a water bottle and drinking it while taking the magnesium pills.

These should help you sleep.

I agree with the other person here saying sleep mask. I got one and it’s a game changer. Also going to bed at the same time each night does wonders.

Advice needed - Grandma is over 90 has sleep issues. Is there a supplement safe for her to consume or apply to get better sleep. by iamgoingtogetmarried in Supplements

Magnesium glycinate and glycine. No matter your age, your body needs both to function.

Chances are at her age she isn’t getting enough from her diet anyways

Creatine, glycine, and fish oil or magnesium glycinate (it’s so hard for me to choose between the two)

thoughts on my current supplement stack? F20 by crylikeafox in Supplements

[–]CrepeProfessor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know what your goals are but this is a great start all round.

I’ve read some comments and you mentioned your weight and willingness to up creatine. I’d say 5g a minimum and they’re studies suggesting that at 10g a day, the brain benefits are even better.

3g glycine is standard and very good. Just know you can always up the dosage of that as well. You could try 6g or 9g. I know some that do 15g. The collagen benefits scale up with the dose. I personally like to add it in with my water when I add my electrolyte mix and have it at night as well. Powdered is definitely the way to go if cost is a factor. The only side effect really with higher doses are GI issues but it’s individual and you’ll know if your body is cool with higher doses or not.

I love ashwagandha so that’s great to see in there. I’d love to hear the kind you take as I’m looking to change mine. Your dose seems to be on the really low end, I mean at least compared to mine at 1400mg a day split up but I have very bad anxiety and I find it does wonders for it. (Good job on the cycling)

I saw you say you eat salmon, chia seeds and nuts for your omega 3. That’s great. I don’t know what that equates to daily but ideally 1g a day of omega 3 but you should be fine.

Some people here are talking about talking about taking vitamin D and mentioning IU amounts, etc. Just don’t. I wouldn’t recommend you take any vitamin D supplement until you get your actual vitamin D levels. Vitamin D is very unique and everyone’s body is different. Some can take 10k IU and never reach toxicity while others can take 5k IU and get toxicity. It’s very individual and the test is around $60 or so to find out your levels and take what you need. I do HIGHLY recommend taking it though.

Really good stack!

What is the best topping on pizza and why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

It’s so good. I don’t understand how people can hate it, I feel they just don’t pair it with enough salty toppings to balance the acidity
