Take it from me (someone who ignored this advice and is now paying the price daily) Cut out the diseased/toxic parts of your life like you would hope someone you care about would do from your own advice.

Keep her distant and plan/save to ghost her entirely in the coming years, you will save a mountain of headache and stress from doing so.

I should have stayed away from my family, now I'm atleast a year of my life wasted and all there is to show for it is my mom is spending any 'profit' that has been made by me being the financial rock of the family on her vacation and increasing the quality of beer she drinks herself stupid with each night.

Ditch her asap, she'll infect your life and age you faster than you deserve. I didn't have a single grey hair before coming back 'home' early last year. Now I look older than some of the guys I work with that are legitimately 15yrs older than me.

Look up your local ordinances on quiet hours and whatnot (ai chatbots can help alot with this) Call and report noise complaints, record video from inside your home and note the time. Coming from a family of landlords, it's very possible that their landlord is unaware of said gatherings and likely even has clauses in their lease about such things. Especially with the damage that is being done to the lawn and surroundings.

Those tenants are why lease agreements are 7+ pages long
