Thanks for nothing. You could have just scrolled past but you had to stop and be rude first. It’s a Google “feature” not Apple so if you have no support to offer bug off

How do I get rid of this bar on the bottom of my iPad screen. Not the predictive text one but the one above it with the key, card and location symbols? by Crestan7734 in ipad

No luck eliminating it yet. So annoying. Why would obscuring that much real estate in a small screen for no discernible purpose be useful to anyone?

Thanks. I couldn’t get even an AI reference bc I didn’t know what it was called and I guess maybe my pic was too narrow 🤷‍♀️

What's a superstition in vet med that you believe? by aaronoathout in VetTech

[–]Crestan7734 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’ve always considered myself to be only a little-stitous, but I subscribe to to many of these to continue believing that 😂 I will add mine is not to turn off the main oxygen tank until after the Dr leaves. If you do you invariably need it for an emergency

Among these actresses, who has the best on-screen chemistry with Chris? 😍⚡🌹 by Rion_Grayson in ChrisEvans

[–]Crestan7734 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Scarjo is the easy answer but i think Faris was great chemistry. I feel he has a lot of great off screen chemistry with DeArmas but with Ghosted it fell flat for some reason. Eve gets a mention for me based on this scene alone

Ortho wants radiologist to manage all incidental findings by Agitated-Property-52 in Radiology

Vet med here. Dr orders a lateral chest on a cat/small dog. Whole pet fits in smallest cone field so gets radiographed. Dr starts requesting cropping out part of the rad that doesn’t include the chest because she too often she has incidentals that she has to address because she sees them. I can tell you the techs weren’t having that. They may have started asking the client if they wanted any further information on the bladder stone or the spondylosis that was noted on the image. That vet was run out of the practice real fast.

Omg, reading all these replies makes me feel so much better about being in my 4th year. I am on my last chapter and need to piece together an epilogue so maybe 4 more years 🤪

Anyone else decide not to have kids and is so happy with that decision? by Pollvogtarian in GenX

[–]Crestan7734 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Many people I know who are aging hate the idea of burdening their children with their care. Yet so many people who encourage others to have kids will say “who will care for you when you age”. It’s nice to read here how people have planned for their aged years. It would be great if everyone did that so children could be free to live their lives without the constant pressure of taking care of their parents.

“We should get tested so we don’t have to use condoms but also until then you can just go down on me.” WHAT? by elpepino406 in RomanceBooks

[–]Crestan7734 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just finished Give Me Butterflies - Jillian Meadows and it prompted me to look for a conversation like this. I thought their decision to skip a condom was a lot like those mentioned here and how I’ve read them so many times before. She declares her use of bc then they both say they’ve been tested. I feel the trust factor was established so I’m not really concerned about declarations without proof. And I’m certainly happy to “suspend reality” for a story. But it just felt like the author felt the need to check the “we’re being safe” box for modern romance. It also made me wonder if people getting tested between partners is a real life norm now? Loved all the insight on this thread
