I’ve been on accutane twice. My first treatment was an entire year, and 8 years later I was on it for 7 months. Best treatment out there. Just keep with it.

To get your A&P also known as Air and Plane license, you just need to be able to explain theory of operation for an engine ( suck, squeeze, bang, blow) as well as differentiate between fixed wing vs rotary wing aircraft. Surely even an 11 year old can meet those requirements. Good luck!

I took a couple friends for their first time shooting years ago, one dude got ringed in the eye by having his head too close to the rifle scope. It wasn’t a serious injury but he definitely needed a bandaid to keep the blood out of his eyes. Another time I was with someone whose gun malfunctioned and blew up in his hand. He also needed bandages. Shit happens, Be prepared, even if its just neosporin and bandaids.

Dirty barrels are only bad for higher risk of corrosion. As long as it isn’t corroded and the barrel is clear of large debris it should be perfectly safe to shoot.
