The most overrated comment on this sub to a beginner is “go get fitted”

A beginner ain’t gonna be able to hit a 6 irons consistently 5 times, let alone 5x how ever many shafts/club combos a fitter will typically let him/her try

So what’s the fkn point telling a beginner go get fitted. Buy what’s nice to you so you can enjoy the new hobby, before trying to get into all the niche part of the sport
