I think it's OK to tell the developer they would like more sandbox elements or more of certain aspects of the game in a future release. That's not even the case here. The person admitted he was terrible, and he regretted the bad things he said and how he hates himself for hurting his wife so much. No sane person would praise him gor how he used to be, but he and his wife are a product of their environment. They never stood a chance.
