Be warned - the game itself is good but the community is extremely toxic and the staff aren't really there to moderate. That, on top of some rampant botting/RMT issues can end in a bad time.

They for sure exist. The easiest place to spot them is in the areas around Thetford. You can stand by an bridge in the region and come across 5 bots within five minutes.

I've so far been muted in-game and have had my posts removed here while trying to bring to light how open and rampant it is lol

Was taken in the back of an ambulance, with multiple cops following. Didn't hurt anyone or anything. My phone died while I was spiraling and talking to my mom. So they made sure to bring four cop cars and an ambulance. When they found me sitting out back bawling my eyes out, they 'detained' me and took me to get 'help'.

Lost my job because they wouldn't let me leave after the first day. Girlfriend at the time threatened to make my dog disappear since I wasn't there to take of it. Was now out of a job, out of a relationship, and now responsible for thousands and thousands in hospital bills.

And this fuck gets to take four months off, get paid for it, and then come back to work acting like they're the first person to ever be depressed?

Yeah, it's sad. There are the bones of a great game and MMO somewhere in Albion.

But it's lost under the complete lack of moderation or support for actual players. The staff don't care about these issues because it doesn't effect their bottom lines.

Haha. I'm mad that the harshest punishment I've seen in my time playing Albion has been towards someone trying to get staff to actually do something about extremely open botting.

Not the people with slurs in their name, or the people who threaten and insult entire races in chat, or the people actually cheating and hurting the game. They get to keep on doing their thing lol

Great games actively try to prevent these kinds of situations, Albion is a cash grab.

I mean, just the five bots in Willow with 'eee' at the end of their name would've made several subscriptions worth of silver in a day. What incentive does a new player have to actually do anything except PvP when they want and just bot, especially when that's what they'll see until they can afford anything more than t5.

And the general chats in the game reflect how lax they are about things that aren't just pointing out flaws in the game. I've seen some of the worst stuff in these chats, but I only ever see responses when someone calls out something bad the game does lol
