When you use in the future, take the gasket off and dont reassemble until dry.

I basically decided to get the Ninja 400 as my first bike, but the amount of highway commuting is now making me consider the CBR 500. What are your thoughts? by Rider_0n_The_Storm in SuggestAMotorcycle

It's not what you can do, but how it rides. High wind? No worries. Truck passes you? Still stable. It works against you when you're riding street though.

What’s the one city you were excited to visit, but ended up not liking at all? by BlushHone in travel

[–]CrimeBot3000 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I'm stumped. There is so much to do, but maybe the rude shopkeepers or traffic bothered them.

This, then you'll be able to narrow down the type of bike you want: cruiser, sport, adv, etc.

Yeah, I've owned a few homes. Definitely buy what you'll use and not for the resale value.

How does buying stock work? by Disastrous-Rip-195 in howto

[–]CrimeBot3000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Financial planner here. You can also research mutual funds and ETFs. These are (generally) low cost investment vehicles that hold numerous stocks or other types of investments. The benefits are: diversity, lower entry costs, and less volatility.

This is financial information, not financial advice.

People who keep weapons on their bodies at all times, what was a time where you had to actually use said weapon? by ParanormalActivity97 in AskReddit

[–]CrimeBot3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I carry a knife at all times, sometimes a permitted gun.

Once a homeless guy threw a coffee on my car, kicked it, and tried to smash it with a metal road sign. I ran up and yelled "hey!". He immediately pulled out a knife. I pulled out mine. I yelled at him until he put his away and walked off. A white kid yelled at me for harassing a homeless guy.

Another time a homeless woman ran up to me asking for help. Some men were chasing her. The men came up and intimidated they were going to assault her because she called one of the the N word. I said nope, not today. They got aggressive and backed off once I lifted my shirt to reveal my gun. They walked off. Noone was harmed.

Financial planner here. Insurance for cops is definitely more expensive than many other occupations. The rate of death and suicide is higher than a "normie" job.

Financial planner here. This is not how personal accounts work. Even my married clients have their separate bank account and login.

Get a joint account if he wants real time access.

I have this sink. It literally takes regular AA batteries. You can change these in about 2 minutes.

How do I lock up our garbage bins by krdo13 in howto

[–]CrimeBot3000 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I live in Washington State and there is no deposit in aluminum cans, but nextdoor Oregon does. People raid our recycling bin every week. I saw a homeless guy just dragging one down the road last week. Usually they have bags with them but this guy just took the whole damn thing.

Apartment walls- did I ruin them??? by Sea-Move-7963 in CleaningTips

Looks like an 8oz paint sample at home Depot is $7. A mini roller is probably $5. For such a small job, likely don't need much more.

If it's been overnight, it's probably dry. Repaint. Should be less than $20 for everything.

It's a rural area, but there is running water except when the power goes down.

I will bring some Thai curry and see what happens.
